Debbie,
Your post is exactly what happened to me last year. I was told I had complained too much about sell by dates, bad quality food, items missing and they expelled me !0 -
I'm still shopping at tesc but only cos they take my manufacturers MOC from me.
have managed to accrue a few points. I am in the baby, healthy living and wine club, I do swaps for points coupons and get a fair few till spits. My son also wombles them from trollies etc. I will look if noone is about, but my son is on a misison andwill pick up a till spit from the floor and gleefully declare in front of me that he has found one! :rotfl:
I got £43 worth in the quarter just finished and have £11 worth already now. So far I have about £300 in points ready to convert to deals. have to do some soon cos about £40 worth expire in mayI can be brown I can be blue I can be violet and sky. that's awful!
I will take things to CS if they have overcharged me, but then they dont take any record of who you are, but I wont complain about something small, simply because of my coupon usage and points usage. I dont want attention drawn to me if I can avoid it. I've bought a couple of things before now, got home and found they may be a day out of date. (They're breaking the law doing that) or found a couple of apples bruised etc, but I just putit down to bad luck and vow to be more careful next time.I can be brown I can be blue I can be violet and sky. Mirabelle, Yes, identical to what happened to me - Tesco treat you as a fraud or a liar if you wish to complain - not good enough at all. A friend of mine had the same problem - she was even told when she complained that her fresh produce only lasted 2 days, that her fridge was to fault. She also has disowned Tesco & she has 4 children! My mum has also, out of disgust at the way I was treated. What happened to the customer is always right!!!
They are doing themselves no favours - half the time when you complain it's out of principle. The refund does not even cover your phone call or the time and hassle (and arrogance you receive).
Mirabelle they have done you a big favour!0 -

You mean the same fresh produce that has travelled 5000 miles across the world, which was reduced 50%, after they put it up 100% Oh they do make me laugh!!!!:rotfl:Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0 -

I was a regular weekly online shopper with Tesco plus Tesco is my nearest supermarket. I'm not in the points league with some of you dedicated big hitters, but I could collect £60-80 points per round easily with a bit of canny shopping and that made a difference when it came to summer hols....RAC for two of us, LegoLand passes, Futuroscope in France last year, plus several magazine subscriptions I otherwise couldn't justify on my budget.
Since January though? I've not done any online shopping and I've only really been in Tesco for the 75% offers and the late evening shopping where you get a lot of reductions. The rest of the time I've gone to Lidl, plus worked my way round Asda and Sainsbury for their special deals too. I've always been keen on bargains and watching the prices and now the points have been cut back I just don't find Tesco competative enough. Plus I think the quality has gone down over the last year or so, to be frank. Bye-bye Tesco!Val.0 -

Thanks
MOC = money off coupon
till spits are when you get your receipt, the till often "spits" out a clubcard voucgher ie 100 points when you spend £4 on frozen food, 300 points WYS £30 on clothes etc etc

i may be defecting too as they refused my MOCs last night - saying 'you have to buy the product' - oh well, Mr T is getting very greedy - huge price hikes, no high points codes, and now not taking MOCs - bye bye Mr T, Hello Mr Morissons0
