Aaagh! I've been creeping closer to the magic 1000 points so I could order a John Lewis voucher and give up on Pigsback, only to reach it today and find they've slapped a £1.50 charge on top! I'm seriously cheesed off. I've ordered a Dorothy Perkins voucher instead while I can still afford something. I'm also still waiting for some Amazon points from before Christmas. I don't think it's worth my while hanging around Pigsback anymore.

I mailed pb the other day about BingoRooms and have just had this reply
    Thanks for your mail.

I hope you're enjoying the free £5 you were given to play with from Bingorooms but we'd like to clear up any confusion you may have about how you earn PiggyPoints. We've had a few queries from some members so we thought we should clarify things.

To earn your 500 PiggyPoints you simply need to deposit a minimum of $25 (or the sterling equivalent) into your Bingorooms account. Your PiggyPoints will then be credited within 6 weeks.

Don't worry, the process of depositing into your Bingorooms account is very simple and only takes a few moments.

If you have any further queries, please don't hesitate to let us know.

    Kind Regards,

    Rachel

Was there any mention of depositing money to get the points ?. I dont remeber there being
  • My mother in law has been chasing 50 points for catergories and 50 points for signing up to email subscriptions for 3 weeks, now they put the points up when she finally gets them added she still wont have enough for a voucher (she will be on 1000 dead).
They are so slow at replying to anything.
Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together. :p
  • Actually does anyone have the screen shot for bingo rooms still, I think we should all take this further.

So, I sent off my email to PB showing my Hotel Chocolat confirmation email, a screen shot of me registering with Hotel Chocolat and a screenshot showing the offer on PB. I've just got the following reply from PB:

    Hi,

    Thank you for your email.

I have followed up on this for you and although you registered with Hotel Chocolate, you did not register via Pigsback.com therefore I cannot credit you with the PiggyPoints. Only transactions made via Pigsback.com will be credited with PiggyPoints.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused, and if you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact me.

    Kind Regards,

I sent an email back saying that of course I clicked through PB as I know I won't get my points otherwise. It's simply my word against theirs and whether they would believe me or not. I shall wait and see what they say.

BUT - it does give hope that they haven't come back saying I didn't buy anything so if you haven't had your HC points, I suggest you give it a try.... good luck! :D

Re the bingorooms saga, have now just received this email in response to my enquiry:

 Has anyone else had a similar reply - I'm positve there wasn't any mention of having to make a deposit in order to get the points. And can someone confirm that you can't actually withdraw any money from the site in the UK - it's ridiculous, expecting us to deposit our money with no chance of getting any back.

Does anyone have a screenshot of the offer I could use, please? (I didn't take one at the time - I wan't as cynical then).

    Rant over, for now.

I too have received the same reply .

There was no mention of depositing on the offer .I have just sent them a reply stating that they are shoody ,inept and ,a few other words .

We should battle this one as ,it highlights their inadequacies .
