    Afternoon all,

Nothing much to-day...took DDIL shopping before she heads back to Netherlands...she has tiny feet and has great difficulty buying shoes there so usually tries when she is here...no luck to-day...did manage to get some stuff for DGD3 as I had vouchers I wanted to use up...also stocked up on tights for me...then realised that vouchers were out at end of January but luckily they took them anyway, have had them for ages and thought that they were valid until July!

Having sea trout for dinner, found butcher with wonderful veg and fish selection as well...he had about 12 varieties of fresh fish at reasonable prices so was happy, also got head of fennel which we love but is rather scarce at present.

Smoky...have a good day and as someone else advised keep your celebration until OH can fully participate..hugs to you and PenPin.

I'm SO sorry, TWINK - I should have known it was AUSSIE (that'll teach me to read the thread at 90 miles an hour!).

Well, I've done some knitting and actually finished a doll for my Mum for Mother's Day so I'm almost ready to pack her parcel up for posting on Thursday. I haven't done any work because I got caught up watching Dinnerladies (I love Victoria Wood) and this was such a funny episode. Julie Walters was doing what I have accused TWINK of doing!

Anyway, I've just put the jacket potatoes on ready for dinner - I shall scoop them out and fill them with mince, onions and gravy and serve them with baked courgettes and sweet potato. Pudding is lemon curd suet sponge.

Hope everyone is having a good day. The rain has held off since this morning and it's quite breezy - I think we were spoiled with the blue skies and sunshine for so long. When the sun comes out it's lovely but it keeps going back in!

Well, I think I'll put the kettle on. See you all later.

    Hello everyone.

Happy birthday smoky and hugs to everyone who would like one!!!

Had a good day and feeling rather upbeat for this time of day - got some lovely new cake tins from TK maxx which I can't wait to try out. Got a large 8" loose bottom cake tin and a 12 muffin tin, which is great. Just need some new recipes to test out now! Anyone got any inspiration for me?

Also got the wedding photos from the photographer last night - all 1800 of them! :D

I have a couple of favourites - hope you don't mind me showing them off!

We have them all to use as we please, so i am going to chose the best and have the printed and preserved in an album. We got given a beautiful one from my best friend as a wedding gift. However i think it'll take a while to decide, order the prints and then actually put them in the album! Another job to add to an ever growing list.

Got to meal plan tonight and then to a tesco online order. Dinner is something basic - although no idea what yet!!!

    bye for now x

Hi everyone:hello: It's all right I'm not hurt nobody waves just to me, sniff sniff.

Actually I'm just tearing through. I'm all behind ( Haribo, don't you dare:p ) because I spent going on for 2 hours this morning to finish up 1 mile from my house. Shez did the Blackwall tunnel approach road fiasco affect your side? There was an accident involving a fuel spill, which has removed the road surface so it's shut for 24 hours. Pity they weren't stopping us from joining the road:rolleyes:

Not much OS done here, pasta sauce cooking, and WM has done a couple of loads but that's about it. Oh and BM on too:D Haribo, thanks for that amazing link:T I notice you're too scaredy cat to have a go at wannasavemoney, and she's even more in love with her BM, fair wearing it out:rotfl: :rotfl:

Mioliere, you just can't trust any *quote* in Aussie's or Haribo's posts, but I still find myself getting caught. Too trusting for my own good:o I knew you wouldn't do that twink:o (or if you did, you wouldn't tell us:rotfl: ) It was sweet of Aussie to concede to you in the biscuit wars;) :D

Well, old folks lunch club tomorrow, so I must start some preparation.

smokybabe, hope you've had a birthday present today...... an improvement in DH's condition. ((hugs))

CHURCHMOUSE :hello: :hello: :hello: :hello: :hello: :hello: :hello: :hello:            Howzat?

R.MAC - stunning photos - you looked wonderful. Thanks so much for posting them.

I only popped in for a read; I should be typing invoices but I can't be bothered! I wasn't going to post but decided to wave to CM. I must admit, these days, I seem to do everything in a tearing rush and don't use the smileys very often - apart from the Happy Birthday one; I'm going to try and use them more often.

Well, these invoices look SO interesting - I can't wait to type them! In fact, they can wait until tomorrow morning. I wish I could read, knit and eat chocolate for a living. Now that would be my dream job! I could try advertising for one. To make it the perfect job it would have to have a company top-of-the-range Mercedes and around £200,000 a year! Oh, and Colin Firth could be my 'Boy Friday', and Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday!

Oh well, a girl can dream!

    See ya.
