Hello Mumzy! Welcome to the daily!

R mac - your photos are lovely! What a beautiful bride! Many congratulations!

Jannyannie - (((hugs))) to you and your family, hope you all feel much better soon!

Charlies mum - Well done! :T

Well I am feeling a tad sorry for myself having been yet again to the dentist and am back there in a fortnight for more treatment, at least I have a trifle to look forward to when my mouth comes back to life! I made it soon after the trifle sponges fell on my head, they needed using up and it's nice to get reminders like that(better than a large tin of custard on my head anyway!) I am rambling again:rolleyes: must be the medication! thinking about that I feel it might be time to take some painkillers before all comes back to life! - coward that I am!:o

  • Hello everyone, thank you for making me feel so welcome yesterday.
Smokeybabe am so glad that your news was better yesterday.
R.Mac, your photos are lovely, I take it you are North of the Border too, judging by the kilts?

I've spent the last few days in a panic as I'm 37 weeks pregnant and it's just hitting me that we are soon going to have another small person, I think I've been too busy chasing my toddler to think about it properly till now. Trying valiantly to meal plan and fill my freezer with sensible things before the new arrival. I've come to the conclusion that budgetting and meal planning and trying to stop the house becoming a bombsite is much harder, but possibly more satisfying, than a normal job.
Meant to be having a homebirth, so the pressure is on to keep the house reasonably tidy at the mo!
Hope everyone has a nice evening.

OH has just managed to loose a filling, so £40+ down the (drain) tooth this week...............and he was only eating cauliflower cheese at that!!!! I hope thats no reflection on my cooking!!!!

I did manage to do some sewing this afternoon, we are going to Mr T's tomorrow to do the grocery shopping...........I had intended to go Friday, but there is a fire alarm test tomrrow which drives us potty the noise goes on for ages whilst they check the alarms are all ringing. When I was in Mr T's yesterday we saw a carry on bag, like a flight bag but which has a compartment for your computer and also wheels and a shoulder carry handle, they were reduced to £29......I need to check that it will go in the o/h locker so taking a tape measure with me tomorrow to see. There is room for overnight clothes in it as well, so may well end up in my trolly.......
    Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.

Evening Folks! Hope you've all had a good day. I had just decided that maybe my feelings of depression might be enough to warrant an appt. with the doctor last night - and first thing this morning is the news was all about prozac being no more effective than sugar pills! And I know I have to cut out the sugar! Oh well, keep plodding on then.
Glad to hear from Smokybabe last evening - hope news continues to e positive. Happy Birthday - and look forward to celebrating later on.
Rmac - fab pics - you look stunning!
No OS today, woke up late, just time for shower and quick brekkie....school...home and here I am. Another late meeting tomorrow too
Nearly time for bed - at least that's how I feel.

  • Good morning all,

an hour on an exercise bike? How does your b*m cope on those silly little saddle seats? My b*m gets sore after about 10-15 mins so can't manage more than that. Not sure that I should be proud of myself for doing 15 mins every day now. :o:D I actually broke my bike on Sunday so can't use it until I can fix the pedals.

Yep hour in morn, hour in evening, maybe im over doing it, but i really need to shift some flab so the more exercise the better :rotfl:

I actually put 4 cushions on the saddle before i sit on it, so my bum doesnt hurt :rotfl:

    Good evening everyone

smokeybabe - sending you many best wishes on your birthday.

scuzz - fingers crossed about the job.

I've been in pain today. Last week I had an awful stomach ache, but today I've been almost doubled up with pain. Not great when you've got to teach 28 hyperactive 6 & 7 year olds. I'm sitting here having taken two paracetomal and with a hot water bottle cuddling my stomach. Fingers crossed, it seems to be easing a little.....

Supper tonight was a cheat, I'm afraid. Chicken with a jar of sweet & sour sauce and noodles. :o That was all I could manage with my stomach in pieces.

I'm afraid that I've also fallen off the grocery challenge wagon. :o To be honest, February has been a bit of a poor month OS wise. :o I even suggested to DH that we got a cleaner. However, having worked out how expensive it would be (and we could have a nice holiday on the money not spent!) then I relented that possibly doing our OWN cleaning is the way forward.

Right, I'm going to watch the rest of Mastershout.....
