    I've been Money Tipped!
    :hello: Good morning all!

Csarina can I please borrow a Gggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr? I stupidly decided to have a go at sorting out my larder cupboard before I had even had a sit down with a morning :coffee:and being totally unco-ordinated in the morning, I managed to knock over amongst other things a tub of gravy granules which went everywhere! Mind you it was when the pack of trifle sponges (left over from Christmas) fell on my head that I remembered that as I have another painful appointment at the dentist this afternoon, it might be a good idea to make up a trifle!;)

I spent yesterday starting to sort out the craft room (trying to find some shabby chic!;)) and have somehow made an even bigger mess! so after a trip to the post office and walking the pup (who got so muddy yesterday rolling in our local rugby pitch mud several times:rolleyes: that I had to bath her) I will have to go sort out the mess.

(((hugs))) to Smokey and Birthday wishes for a better year ahead
(((hugs))) to PP, Mrs Mix, Grannybroon, and everyone who could do with one!

Wishing you all a peaceful day filled with achievements

I have nearly finished my first dishcloth!!!! :D:j

    Catz x

Plan today is to get another load of washing out, weather is bright and sunny here, so hope that lasts the day, so I can get the washing dried. Morning everyone

i`ve a few days catching up to do as i`ve not managed to get on for a while, i started out yesterday but got called away and i`ve soooo missed reading about everyones days.

We`ve had some electricity problems here, we were really worried when it went off at first as we thought it was just our house, it happened just after midnight Monday morning when i`d just sat down with the laptop after a busy weekend and everything went off, i ended up running down the road in my nightie looking to see if anyone was still up.

The problem`s has now been sorted out i`m glad to say and our power is back on, i was getting very worried about the freezer, there is an underground cable fault and our power has been routed from somewhere else until it`s fixed.
I`m off to try and catch up now, hope everyone has a good day.

((((hugs)))) to everyone who needs them.

DH is getting on well with his new job, his back is so much better he had a morning without painkillers yesterday which is the first time in several years!:j

I've had an appointment to go back to see the consultant about my hysterectomy - in August:rolleyes: - seems like a long wait to me!

2 days off now :j am odd into town soon to do some jobs and meeting Mum for a coffee at the WI, expect I'll hear all about the row with my sister:rolleyes:

Not got anything planned yet for tea so must search the freezer, my menu planning has gone out the window the last few weeks!

Have a great day all, see you later x
    Do what you love :happyhear
  • Morning everyone,

Lovely and sunny here in Andover, hope it stays that way, it really cheers me up seeing the sun.

Just a quick post as am in w**k, but wanted to wish Smokey all the best, you are constantly in my thoughts and prayers, I am sure the kids will make sure you enjoy your day today. Huge hugs to you and your family.

Hugs to everyone else that needs them.

Have a good day all, take care xxxx
  • Good morning all,

Smokybabe have the best birthday you can under the circumstances. ((((hugs)))) to you and yours.
RRuby Thinking of you and your DD. Thanks for the mention yesterday.
(Haven't read all of yesterday's thread so don't know what, if any, developments have taken place - will go and read it now.)
icecubequeen an hour on an exercise bike? How does your b*m cope on those silly little saddle seats? My b*m gets sore after about 10-15 mins so can't manage more than that. Not sure that I should be proud of myself for doing 15 mins every day now. :o:D I actually broke my bike on Sunday so can't use it until I can fix the pedals.
((((hugs)))) to those who are poorly, feeling down, have worries or troubles or just need one.

I have an appointment with the nurse to have my blood pressure checked today. At last weeks appointment it was 155/100  but I'm 100% sure that most of that was down to me being so worked up about the appointment. She took it again at the end of the appointment and it was lower so I'm pretty sure that I will see a much better result today.

Now that I am on tablets for my diabetes, I can't drink alcohol, which means I haven't been eating crisps (well, they go together like tea and cake, don't they?). As well as that I have been eating *very* healthily so I am now 7 1/2 lbs lighter. :j

Lunch is a fabulous HM butternut squash, sweet potato and red pepper soup with HM wholemeal bread. Dinner is leftover curry (with tons of veg in it) and rice.

Off to w**k after the appointment so need to get myself organised before I go. Have a tremendous Tuesday. xx
