Happy Birthday Smokey from me too.

Glad to see there are fellow insomniacs out there too - wonder if there's a link between that & being OS?!

Scuzz - just spotted you are in Eastbourne too! And discovered Mrs-Mix was the other day as well - we're obviously very OS here..... Was Equs good?
Scary but exciting handing over all your worldly money to the solicitors, lol, - I did it last October!

Anyway, think I will go & get a 2nd cuppa of the morning - peered out into the darkness around 5.30am & it didn't sound very pleasant out - and now I see it isn't. Then gear up for another busy day....

Im early today!!!!!!! its because DD has been picked to be in the gymnastics team so she has an extra lesson at 8.00am.She happy though because she has had eggy toast for breakfast[she said its better than nigella lawsons!!!!!!!]Dull day in dudley,but it is early.DD has also swimming after school and youngest daughter wasnt to play all day today!!!!!!!!

morning all

supposed to be blowing a gale here but nothing yet, made some bread yesterday and tastes so much better than shop bought, not so salty

work later, be a busy day making cards for mothers day, glue and glitter everywhere, i took in a spice bottle with holes in the top to sprinkle the glitter from so hope that works

have to cut uncles hair sometime this week but wont go if its windy as i have to go over a suspension bridge for walkers only and was nearly blown off last gale we had

Yes Equus was good. It's very dark, both story wise and the set. The actors are very good, quite something to see Simon Callow in the flesh. And Alfie Allen does a great job too. I would recommend it!

Purpleprincess is also an Eastbourne Old Styler, but not seen her on here for a while. Must pop into the pub where she works and see if she's still about. I know she went travelling with her other half, but she should be back by now.

Twink - suspension bridge! I dont think I could walk over that even it it wasnt windy.

Busy day here again, dont like Tuesdays much. Have to pick up DS' friend frm school and take them to football training which is 5-6pm so it really messes up our dinner times. Am meant to be going out for a meal for a friends birthday but not sure if will be able to make it as need to leave at 6.50 but OH didnt get home till 7.30 last week.

Going to attempt to clean DD's bedroom this morning - one of my most hated jobs. Need to clear everywhere first which is what takes the longest.

After that and my normal dailies will be in my office as its wages day. Will then shower and wash my hair this afternoon and hope OH is home it time.

Chilli for tea - nice and easy and it can be left in the slowcooker.

Grotty weather here in west sussex this morning but at least the garden is enjoying it. Got washing out of wm but have to see if the weather perks up before putting it out later.

Just read the rest of yesterdays thread. I agree, that if we all were to mention everyone when we post then it would make it rather boring cos most of us would just be mentioning the same things over and over again, so its best just to mention the ones you remember which is why my posts are usually small because i've got a goldfish's memory.:o
