Had a very cheap day yesterday. Got some sausages and beans for myself and a pot noodle for the other half and had that for dinner (bought the other day whilst doing a mystery shop so technically free).

Then for tea, did another mystery shop and got a couple of meals for me and my boyfriend so they were again technically free. Also got my phone topped up with £10 so I get my free texts.

In the evening, went over to our mate's house and played on their Wii all evening. :D

Today, I have sold an item on Gumtree for £40 so some of that can go towards my Egg payment, although I will need to use some for petrol as I am skint.

I'll put £20 of it towards Egg so that leaves me with £180 left to find. Will put some stuff on Ebay tonight. I reckon I can put on £50 worth of stuff on there and I am also expecting £20 worth of mystery shopping money to come through so that will be £90 towards Egg so nearly half way there.

I've got another 2 disability payments coming through before it's due so will be able to put at least one of those towards it so that is another £70 and if necessary, I will put in some of my birthday money in for the rest (but will take it out again when I get paid so I can by myself some clothes with it ;) ).

Why is everything so hard? I sorted all my money out for this month with Egg and other bits I have to pay and now I've had an unexpected bill through for just over £60. Ok, it is my fault as I got some new clothes from one of my mum's catalogues ages ago but I had forgotten about it  .

I have got the money for it but was going to put this towards my Egg payment so will now be £60 short. I need to do a carboot this weekend now - I don't care if it's chucking it down!! :p .

Sold £40 worth of stuff on Ebay last night, I had only just put it on and it sold straight away. Have withdrawn the money and that is another £40 towards my Egg payment so I've only got £120 to find (after my £20 mystery shopping money goes in).

Well done on all your recent sales, your doing brilliantly. I'm sure you'll find the extra to put towards your egg card.

Sorry to hear about the flat being on hold for the time being, could you maybe try and pay extra off your debt whilst your still at home and not having to pay extortionate rent?

I was meant to do a carboot sale this weekend, unfortunately the rain stopped that happening. Hoping to do one soon as got sooo much stuff boxed up ready to go.

I hope your feeling better soon.

    Has anyone got any ideas?

I still need £140 for my Egg payment this month. I had to use £20 of it for petrol (have paid my nasty £60 bill from my benefit money). I need the money by the 28th April.

I haven't got much else to put on Ebay and besides it would need to finish by Sunday so that I can withdraw any Paypal money in time. I have put on a DS game this evening and with that and the other stuff on there I am hoping to get at least £30 from that.

I suppose that I can expect to receive at least £50 for my birthday (that's usually what I get from relatives anyway) so that will have to go towards it too. But I'm still £60 short  .

I could get this money from a carboot but it looks like the weather is going to be bad again this weekend and therefore can't rely on that  .

Has anyone got any ideas? I'm going to try and still look for some items to put on Ebay either tonight or Saturday (for one day).

I haven't got anyone that can lend me the money.

    11 days and counting :p .

Well my boyfriend has come through for me again. He is selling quite a lot on Ebay that finishes tomorrow (and is already up to over £300) and has said that I can keep that money in my account to cover my Egg payment until I get paid (we share Ebay and Paypal and it all goes in my account).

I've already sold another £18 worth of stuff on Ebay with buy it nows and have got some more stuff ending tomorrow so hopefully I will only need to borrow £100 from my boyfriend.

I am busy working away on AQA this evening and will be tomorrow too. Don't want to be looking around for money next month like I am now.

I have started to keep a spending diary online. Will make sure that I keep this up to see if there is anything I can cut back on. Spent £20.17 today and that was mainly on petrol and 17p towards a KFC that my boyfriend bought (used up all the coppers in my purse).

Back to the questions and maybe a few comps in between :D .

Hi Emily - looks like you are doing really well. Good idea for the spending diary - it's really an eye opener isnt it!

And an extra big hug for your boyfriend - bless him x x

Feeling a bit down today. Mainly because my boyfriend has just said that his parents have offered to give him his inheritence early basically and they will pay off all his debts for him.

I know I should be pleased for him, but I also feel really jealous and a bit annoyed that he is getting his debts paid off just like that and I am going to be slogging my guts out for years and years to get rid of mine. I have nobody that can help me. I know it is my fault that I got into debt in the first place by the way, I'm under no illusions.

I know that we are engaged and that in the long run this would be better for me but he is just going to be able to get on with his life and I will be left with this dead weight around my neck, not being able to get a mortgage with him or anything like that. Is it just me or would other people feel like this too?

Oh well, no use moaning and dwelling on things I suppose - back to the slog and the questions.

Thank you :D - glad to know I'm not being unreasonable by feeling this way.

At least I will know that I have cleared my debts all on my own and won't EVER be tempted to get back into debt again (although a nice, large windfall of some kind would be very helpful ;) ).
