Well it's the 3rd of April and I've answered 210 questions on AQA so far which is £63. A far cry from my total this time last month which was just £9.90.

I am still working at it tonight too so will hopefully get to 300 before going to sleep. Well I say going to sleep, I mean trying to go to sleep!!! My cough is driving me nuts and whenever I put my head on the pillow, it starts again!! I only got a couple of hours last night and can't see tonight being much better  .

I did a mystery shop today worth £7 and have got some more lined up that are worth £81 over the next month. I'm also waiting for nearly £50 from shops I have already done.

I still haven't received any of the prizes I am waiting for. I'm not sure what to do with my Sainsburys vouchers when I get them. I could sell them (for less than the value) to pay some money off a debt or I could save them and use them for shopping when I am living in my new flat. £50 could last me at least a month for shopping so I guess that I would get more for my money by doing that. What does everyone think?

I was thinking about the things that I need today and have seen someone offering a DVD player on Freecycle so have asked if I could have that (probably won't be lucky but you never know) as I realised I don't have one. We have Sky at home (the full package, my mum pays for it) but there is no way that I will be paying for that in my flat when I will have to start paying for a TV licence. Therefore, I will be relying on my DVDs when there is nothing on TV.

The problem is that I have sold a lot of my DVDs to clear some debt so am regretting that a bit now  . I'm going to try and look for some ways to get some free DVDs now so that I've got something to watch. Will also lookout for a Freeview box on Freecycle. I will also only have a 14" TV for a while :D .

Back to the questions (and the coughing!).

    Hi Emily

You are doing brilliantly with AQA and your mystery shops. You will be debt free in no time if you continue to do 100 questions a day and do all those mystery shops. It can't be easy, so hats off to you!

It sounds like you getting your own flat is going to be happening much sooner than you first thought, have you started looking at flats yet? if so seen anything you like?

I hope you manage to get a good nights sleep tonight.

    Take care

I'm going to call an agency to view a couple tomorrow. My mum has said that she will give me the deposit and first month's rent. The problem is that I don't really want to rent with an agency but there are so little places around with private landlords that I might have to.

Just don't know what to do with my boys (rabbit and guinea pig) as I stand a better chance of a private landlord letting me have them in a flat than an agency. Plus I don't want to pay a load of fees either.

Will let you know what these flats are like :D .

Well, just called the agency to view those flats and it has just confirmed to me what I thought in the first place - the bloke I spoke to was so snooty and up his own backside. I am not going to be paying £200-£300 worth of fees to be spoken to like that!!

I'm sitting tight and going private!!

(Sorry if you're a letting agent - I know they probably aren't ALL like that - maybe I have just met all the bad ones!!).

Don't blame you Emily - good luck with finding something. :)

How are you feeling? Any better?

I am a bit behind on my AQA questions. I have done 255 but should be on 500. I'm going to answer enough tonight to get me up to at least 300 questions and then see if I can do at least 150 tomorrow to start catching up. I've got just over £75 and will have £90 by the end of tonight which is much better than last month when I only had £30.

I've got a mystery shop tomorrow worth £10 and another on Monday worth £10. I've got another 3 on Wednesday all worth £21 in total with £12 worth of free shopping so will get some stuff for when I move out.

Still battling with my cough, was up until 2am this morning trying to get rid of it. Ended up sleeping on 4 pillows!! :rotfl: . Still, Pompey managed to cheer me up by winning their match today. I think the sight of me jumping around my boyfriend's living room screaming when they scored scared him a little bit!! :D

There are still no flats in the paper, well not any that I can afford anyway. Will keep on looking.

I've decided to keep the Sainsburys vouchers and use them wisely when I do move out. Not that I have received them yet  .

Got a few bits and pieces to put on Ebay tomorrow and will put this towards my Egg payment this month (won't need to do this next month as I will have £900 from AQA ;) ).

That's my break over so back to the questions.

Taken a bit of a step back on the flat front unfortunately. My mum can't get the money until she sells the house so I will have to wait until then or until I can save up the money myself. There's no point in looking as I don't want to find the perfect flat and then not be able to get it.

Fallen way behind on my questions on AQA. Still time to catch up though so I will be trying my best to do so.

Will be listing some items on Ebay at the weekend to help pay Egg this month - I have decided to sell my Sainsburys vouchers to help with this seeing as I won't be moving out anytime soon. Have also got a mystery shop tomorrow. Looks like the carboot is a no go at the weekend as it's supposed to be raining, maybe next week (feels like I say that every week!!).

Still coughing my guts up at the moment. So fed up with it now, I haven't slept properly for about a month now!! D-Day at the hospital is a week on Monday so I am full preparing myself for an IV line (after my birthday 2 weeks today obviously :D ).
