Well, BT are stupid. They completely messed everything up. Cancelled my internet here....set up OH's down there but didn't sent him a router! It's just gone from bad to worse and been a general nightmare....words fail me.

I could write down everything they did wrong but right now I can't be bothered....tooo much gossip to catch up on! Lol.

I've just posted a moan about BT on the phone forum and got a reply of why did you do this and that! I posted back that it's slightly irrelevant as its all done now...but that I'd rather focus on what the actual point of the thread is. It's not quite put that way.

Turns out it reads like I'm being rude! Ah well. It bugs me though when you ask for advice and people only see fit to point out mistakes you may have made in the first instance!

(hugs) hun, it's far too easy to read more into something than was meant.

    Hope BT sort themselves out

Well, I've not posted much just recently because I've been super busy!!! But I'm back now and ready for a MSE life again!!

Had an awesome weekend down in Wales watching the rugby with OH. Took me 2 hours 47 mins to get down there after work on Friday which I didn't think was too bad, I estimated about 2.30 providing there were no disasters...so not far out.

Work is madness....soooo snowed under. But hey, thats teaching for you I guess.

Finances are a bit dire. OH STILL hasn't been paid! And won't until his contract comes through. It's a bit worrying because we are both quite far into our overdrafts now (mine is paying off the builders and him his set up fees for Wales). We will both have a considerable amount coming out next month for rent, mortgage, bills etc. Soooo we REALLY need to get his finances up and running. Bit stressful really. I do have savings but they are in an ISA and I don't want to lose my allowance unless I ABSOLUTELY have to.

Could be a bit of a lean christmas....lol. Right, time to order my tesco delivery for this week.

I'm a bit fed up tonight. I'm feeling a bit left out of the loop with regard to MSE just lately. Both the site and MS itself! I don't like this not having money in the bank business. Also, because my circumstances have changed so much I don't really fit into the main thread I contribute to anymore.

I didn't realise how much I used it until I started feeling left out. I need a new group I think. Just don't know what is relevant to me.

A glass of wine and some rubbish tv could be on the cards for the rest of the evening I think.

Oh, Twinklie, sorry to hear you are feeling like that. I hope it's not this part of the forum you are referring to.

I realise things are a bit tight for you but if you weren't doing so well with all your other money saving things throughout the year then you'd be feeling much worse.

    Hope you're feeling better soon.

I agree Twinks, the reason we're all on here is not so much to pay our mortgages off but to give ourselves options. Your reductions have helped you go for this mysterious 1/2 month thingy, so that has to be good, doesn't it :)
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Twinklie - I think lots of us don't fit the 'normal' thread/forum malarkey - we're all a bit 'special' in our own way!

I've now dropped out of the original MFiT thread as, having reduced my mortgage LOADS, I managed to get a job move and now can live with Mr TTBG in our fantastic new house with a HUGE mortgage. As GallyGirl's said to you, I wouldn't have been able to do that had I not been practising the MSE-style life, but in a lot of ways the big new mortgage is a leap backwards.

We're all weird - welcome to the club, and keep plugging away at that mortgage in whatever way you can!
