Can't believe you're about to go on holiday already, it seems to have come round so quick!

We booked it last Feb I think...it's taken a while to come round from my point of view. :rotfl:
I am well ready for it though...and the opportunity to spend some quality time with DH is VERY appealing. I'm missing him a lot at the minute.

Being the OOooober looser I am as well, I've spent the last hour downloading things for my MA assignment. I failed it on the first submission...so I'm on with it now to try and get it right second time round. I only have until the 20th Jan to get it done and I'm away during the hols.

Looks like I'll have to take some work with me and crack on with it - very depressing.

  • Is that the one you did over the summer when you were ill? Have they given you lots of pointers how to do improve it?

Hope you get it done this week. Not fair to have to take it away with you.

Yeah, it's the one I tried doing whilst I was ill and looking after a moaning puppy. I'm not going to get it done this week...no way. But I've thought of a system of breaking it down for myself...so I won't have to do too much at once and I can have little successes.

I don't really understand the feedback if I'm honest...it doesn't actually tell me anything. I asked my tutor and she said it tells me everything I need to know. Erm, no...it really doesn't!!

Oh did I mention I got my HOD a giant space hopper from santa?? :rotfl:

Yeah thats what I was going to get him...but couldn't get hold of it in the end. Gave up on a nice or useful present and thought I'd get something daft that him and his partner can play with. They are both big kids so can well imagine them bouncing round on the thing over xmas. Ha ha

Right so I just checked my ISA balance and I had more than double in it what I thought I had. :j

I'm still skint though since I've pretty much already spent the money. DOH! I'm also a tad concerned that the weather is going to go against us and stop us on our travels. :( Fingers crossed it won't.

Right, nearly time for the great christmas wind down. Two more days then I can have an easy day at work. Mind you tomorrow isn't hard despite me teaching all day. One class is doing some research, then it's graph work, then an assessment followed by a class giving presentations. Phew! Then it's a two hour meeting (my meeting though...boo) followed by the department xmas do! VERY exciting stuff.

The weather seems to be suggesting we won't be in on Friday and are likely to be sent home early on Thursday...but we shall see.

Just wanted to say merry christmas to one and all. Fingers crossed I can actually get to the airport and that the flights still go. It's scary stuff out there. x
