Very much so...there were more outstanding features that not, which has surprised me. I didn't think it was that amazing. Ah well...you learn something new I guess. I'll go with his decision though...defo!
The weather is messing with my TV...very unhappy bunny!
I do have another observation on Tuesday though and I have no idea where to begin with it if I'm honest! It's terrifying! ARGH!Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Sorry taka...it just meant that I did good during part of my performance management!
My head of department came to me at the end of the day today as well to say that he couldn't have got through this week without me - I've kept him from sinking apparently! It was a really nice thing for him to say so I was really pleased.
I have also come up with something I can do for my lesson observation on Tuesday now...I just have to organise it all.
Courgette you are right...super super busy. I am reading though...just no time to post. For instance, school Monday, leave at lunch and drive to a meeting about 40 mins away. Leave there, go home via the hospital to drop off my peak flow results. Get home about 6pm (hopefully). Tuesday, teach period 1, observe a collegue as part of their PM, teach the rest of the day, go to a meeting 3.30- 5pm. Get home about 6pm...hopefully. Wednesday be at a school 20 minutes away from mine at 8am for a meeting, get back to mine for 9am and teach all day - 2 hour meeting after work!!!
Thats just the first 3 days, not to mention all the admin cack I have to do and the marking that I'm now behind in by quite a way. ARGH!
Still, having said all that....totally LOVING my job at the minute.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Well my hecktic week has come to a bit of a stand still! I have a SNOW DAY!!! It's the snow round school thats the problem because where I live there is nothing AT ALL!
Bit gutted really because I'd love to play in the snow.
Still,I'm making productive use of my morning...I've put the bin out and changed all the bins in the house (empted - new bags in), put on and hung out a wash, folding the one I've just put away. Started thinking about the lessons I can plan for tomorrow...I think we'll be open. I'm going to fill out some forms and then look to see if I have any stamps to go and post them.
Unfortunately we've had more problems with Belles leg. It's defo her left elbow thats the problem. Yesterday she was crying in pain so had to get her to the vets. Looks as though she has OCD...which is NOT what we wanted to hear. Fingers crossed with some anti inflams she'll sort herself out though. The other not brillitant thing is we've finally got a door on between the living room and the kitchen. She's eating it. Doh! To be fair she's 7 and a half months and never had a door there so I can't really blame her. Ah well. Fingers crossed she settles soon. Don't think I can cope with the lack of sleep much longer.
She's also got her "trial" at the kennels on Saturday...fingers crossed that goes ok and she copes well with it. I'll be gutted if she doesn't . She's only going to be there about 3 hours or so...but thats not the point.
I need to update all my spreadsheets etc in order to organise any payment updates...if I can be bothered I'll do it later. But I might just watch cack tv instead.
Oh and I had ANOTHER observation...got another GOOD. So that's me performance managed for the rest of the year aside from meeting targets now!Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

QUESTION: What do I buy my wonderful head of department for christmas? I have drawn him out for secret santa. He's my absolute hero. I love him. He's my teaching idol. Rules are £5 - £10 not alcohol or chocolate. He's a bit of a "typical" gay man. Loves camp music and a laugh, bit of a b!tch but in a fun and constructive way. I want to get him something good!!Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Absolutely cack day at school. The heating wasn't working when we arrived due to a burst pipe. But they kept us open because it was just about fixed and the heating was coming on. Then throughout the day another 3 burst. My radiators were pumping in cold air from outside (which was -10C). I had to have bunsen burners on every desk and we were still sat in our coats and gloves etc.
When one of the pipes burst it flooded the drama department and set of the fire alarm. We ended up standing on the courts outside for an hour in ankle deep snow in -8 to -10C temps. Then going back in to finish the day with no heating.
FREEZING is not the word. I'm so cross. Some of the kids looked a little blue round the edges they were that bloomin' cold. Grrr.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25
