How random...Belle was just given her frontline dose yesterday!! Ha ha. Must be a case of great minds!! We had a similar thing with my cat when I was a kid though. It was bloody awful! We all got attacked.

  • I was so mortified when we were riddled with fleas. DS1 was only 9 months old and he kept getting them on him - on his head and clothes where he was laid on the floor. It was the same time the floods happened in 2007, so i was trying to sort out everything from being at home for a week and i had SAT papers here, and everything was lousy. We used so many cans of spray.

We've never seen one flea again though since changing to frontline. As long as you know to look out i dare say you will be fine.

I agree. My mum and dads cat used to fetch home fleas all the time, they switched to it and never again!!

Although all this has just reminded me I need to double check now when she's due for worming again. LOL I'm sure I did it last month though...we'll see.

  • I tend to write on the calendar now when they are due stuff like that or i wouldn't have a hope of remembering. I forget worming all the time. Oops.

I just set up a reminder service with drontal! They will text and email me when she's due. I have the flea treatment set to mortgage payment day every month. That way I get two lots of pain out of the way at once! Ha ha

Right, DH is trying to get back from Wales and I've promised to get loads of stuff done before he gets back....so I better get cracking on. Currently I'm in pjs watching tv and on the computer. Right so I guess I better get on it.

    Thinks to do:
    1. [STRIKE]Put on[/STRIKE] and hang out a wash.
    2. [STRIKE]Clean the kitchen.[/STRIKE]
    3. [STRIKE]Clean living room.[/STRIKE]
    4. Hoover - living room, stairs, upstairs.
    5. [STRIKE]Take Belle out for a long walk.[/STRIKE]
    6. Plan lessons for next week (most are already sorted).
    7. Download some articles for my assignment.
    8. [STRIKE]Email accomodation lady for the holiday.[/STRIKE]
    9. Fill in claim form for Belles insurance. Need to drop off at the vets
    10. [STRIKE] Collect the bin and empty all the bins in the house. [/STRIKE]
If I do all that in the next two or three hours (with the exception of lessons and articles which I can do tomorrow morning) I get to kick back and watch the sex and the city movie...if not, I don't. SIMPLES!!

Oooh I need to find my True Blood boxed set as well because I'm meant to be lending it to a mate at work.

But priorities suggest a shower should probably be my first port of call! :)

I've done ok. Managed to bleach and washout the yard and sort all the recycling as well. I seem to have gotten a tad carried away with the cleaning. Hoover soon and clean out he microwave then I'll be happy to stop. :D

Trouble is, DH will be home before it finishes now so he'll ruin it! Ha ha. I'll save it. Might watch it in the morning or I'll save it for sometime during the week when nothings on. Failing that...it can come on holiday with me! We go on SATURDAY! Woop woop.
