Right I've applied for 2 jobs closing dates where Thurs and Friday. I've also found 2 more to apply to, so fingers crossed. I'm quite fed up at school at the minute so the idea of leaving is soooooo exciting. l

I've got lots to do today and just can't get motivated. Hmmm...better sort myself out I think and stop being so lazy. Expecting a call from my parents in the not too distant. Going to meet them for a drink - dad's birthday yesterday and mothers day today.

    Man, I'm tired.

Well nothing from those jobs, soooo...I'm guessing it's the curse of not being an NQT! Damn it! What worked for me last time is completely against me this time. ARGH!

So it looks like the search for a new job could well be a long one. How depressing. Was parents evening tonight which was good, went really well. One of the kids came on their own bless them. He's parents couldn't make it. Found it VERY strange. He's a lovely lad though so just wanted him to know he was doing well.

Twinkle, sorry you've not heard back from the jobs but there's still time. You can always ring/email and ask for feedback why you weren't shortlisted too.

Keep going, super busy time for jobs at the mo, you'll get there :A

Right, well. I went to the doctors yesterday and have been put back on steriods. Doh! But he sounds pretty confident that this time we are going to get my asthma under control and I'll be back to normal. :D

So I'm back to monitoring my own lung capacity again...yawn. But hopefully we'll see some progress. I'm hoping so anyway. So I'm confident my health issues are going to get dealt with.

Seems DH is FINALLY 100% on board with the getting us sorted financially. He's been OPing the CC so we can get it paid off and then work on other stuff. I know he should put it into an ISA or savings account whilst the 0% is still on the money, but he'll just spend it...so this works well for us.

I seem to have scraped back some money from somewhere as well and am actually not overdrawn!!! So looks like I'll be ok if the job hunts takes a while after all!!! :D

In a bid to help me with my cardio, we are looking at purchasing a cross trainer. It's very interesting actually, but I'm a bit baffled by it all. So that's my current researching topic.

It should hopefully help me start exercising again because I just can't get to the gym, and you can only go on the cardio stuff for max 15 mins at the peak periods, which is when I could go. And I need at least 30 minute blocks.

Right, lots of work to do today. One wash already on!

Right, somehow today seems to have gotten away from me. Nevertheless, it's been nice to spend some time with DH.

I've been looking at ISA's as well. Looks like I'll have to get a new one that doesn't accept transfers in to pay into. All the ones that accept transfers in are rubbish rates. So my money in my old one will be on an ok rate. And I can get 3.50% in a new money one. However, I need to think about it a bit more.

Feeling a bit fed up today, but I think thats do to the workload thats creeping up on me. YAWN. I'm just a bit cheesed off and need it to be the weekend already.....even though this one isn't over yet. Ha ha

Twinklie which ISA's are you looking at? I'm thinking Santander for my new money but can't decide for my old money thinking Marks and Spencer but would really prefer a branch which I can pop into if I need access to it. My ISA is part of my emergency fund.

Be careful, I think you only get the higher rate if you have 9k in it (so transfer in).
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
