DH is on antibiotics now as well...what a pair! He's also at the hospital at 2.30 for an xray on the elbow he hurt during his holiday in France. Fingers crossed it's nothing that won't just sort itself out.

I did manage to plan some psych lessons last night, I might finish the last one off later. Unfortunately, I'm still not feeling 100% but I'm also not unwell enough to not go back on Monday. Fingers crossed I'm not going to be going back to soon.

I made a boob with my MF date. I'd put 2009 into the mortgage calculator and so thought I was going to be MF 2018...turns out it's 2019!! Oophs! Bit gutted...but it's just more of a challenge!

A spot of rugby should cheer me up...despite my boys loosing last night. C'mon Scotland and England (I want Ireland to win the 6 nations now we can't...so despite my hatred of the England team, they need to beat France)!

Feeling a bit lost and useless today. I know I work full time etc but I've been feeling a bit of a failure (don't know if it's because I've been ill so much). So in a bid to feel more proactive (since I can't OP anymore than I am credit cards or the mortgage) I'm joining flylady.nets challenge.

I can at least start to feel as though I'm getting my life in order I guess. We'll see how long it lasts. I'm planning on starting on Monday though. I'll wait till DH goes back to Wales. Or I'll start and he'll wreck my plans on Day 1 which will stop me in my tracks before I get going.

I have 2 MS's next week as well which should help me feel more like I'm achieving something! Fingers crossed.

  • Hello Twinklie - sorry you're feeling blue. Maybe the weather plays a part in all this... it's dull, wet and cold out there, which never helps, does it? The overall trend is great - you're doing fab, even if you feel there's a bit of a blip at the moment... Good luck with your MSs next week, QB

Well I'm going to try and get in to see the doctors next week about my asthma. I'm wondering if my workplace might have something to do with my rate of illness. I've never been ill so much in my life!! We are in a new build and since we've moved in the buildings had many problems...not least with the temperatures (2 very big extremes) and it's just so drafty and the radiators fire out cold air at you from outside.

I know I'm a teacher and kids bring disease with them...but seriously...something must be going on. So I figure it's a problem with me or with that. Loads of staff have been ill though and have commented they've never been ill so much the whole time they've been teaching. We shall see....

Ho hum.

Hi Are you feeling any better? I always get 'slow' patches, where I feel I'm not doing much, but remember its the little things that add up to the big things in the end! Keep going!

I'm ok but I think I need to look for a new job closer to home. I don't think I can afford the commute anymore.

Actually I lied. I'm not ok, I'm still ill. I'm managing to go to school but I feel soooo rough!! I just need putting in a bag and shaking up! Grr...

I did however have the most awesome lesson with year 10 this afternoon!! It's a double 2 hour lesson...and a mix of A* - G students several of whom are REALLY challenging! I kept them all engaged and focused for 2 whole hours! :j Yey me!! :j

Right looks like I need a new job. I can't afford to the commute to work anymore what with our new living situation (2 houses etc). So I need something closer. So I'm doing applications this afternoon. Yawn.
