The postman that delivers in my area stops everday at a house across the road from me, for 45 minutes to 1hr every morning!!!!!! It drives me mad, when I'm waiting for my post to be delivered because he is having a long break half way through his round!!!!
I'm going to make a complaint as I'm so fed up of having to wait around till he comes out of the house to carry on with his round to get my post. (I run my own business so I get a lot of urgent post sent to home) Does anymone know where I can complain to, I've looked on the royal mail website but I'm not sure.

Wonder if his wife knows!0 -
hmm haha wonder whats going on there ...... but that would really annoy me as well, some ppl just dont care about doing their jobs that much do they0

I know I have often wondered what went on in there as hes there for such a long time!! Sometimes it annoys me so much that I feel like going over there and knocking on the door and asking for my post...but then what I might find puts me off!0

Look on Royal Mail website under "Customer Services".
There's a whole raft of options there, from "my mail is late " to "comments on Royal Mail Staff".
Can't find one for "My postie is pleasuring my neighbour" though!!;)
(I have used these links when my mail kept going to the church next door, they did monitor my deliveries and it improved!)0 -
What post is so urgent that you can't wait 45 minutes for it ??
Blimey, is it really worth getting worked up about it?0 -
I don't understand what you're complaining about - if he took his break elsewhere (somewhere you couldn't see him), would that make you feel better?
It's probably his legimitimate morning tea break, which he has to take somewhere (it's not really viable to go back to the sorting office for 30 minutes). If he happens to deliver on a friend's / relative's road (it could be his mum for all you know), why not stop for his break there?
What are you hoping the outcome is? That he delivers your post first, then stops for a break?

Well considering I have to go to work & not stay in to wait for it makes it annoying!
There are a lot of things I get sent that need to be signed for so if he delivered when he was supposed to instea of up to 1hr later Iw oudln't then spend half of my time at the post office collecting my mail!0 -
When is he "supposed to" deliver? Do you get guaranteed postal times in your area?
You're lucky - sometimes my "morning" post arrives at 1:30pm

The point is that I used to get my post at the time by the same postman everyday but now he goes over to this house for up to an hour which is annoying for the items I need to sign for as I need to get to work!
He never used to do this so how come he does now?! If it was his tea break & he had always done that then fair enough but why then in the last 4 months has he suddenly started doing this.0 -

Maybe he didn't know the person there until four months ago?
Is it any of your business?Gone ... or have I?0
