  • Beat the target by £15 last night. So that was good. Went over a manhole cover which collapsed. Puncture. Luckily it was a rear tyre which had did 30000 mile nearly and was getting changed next week anyway. That was £40 on the account this morning.

I am meant to be working today and tonight as well. I fell out with the OH big time last/this morning so might not bother. I am absolutely shattered today but will go out in a bit anyway. I can see this far enough.

On the plus point I will be out tomorrow and hopefully fishing on Monday. I just wish this week would end.

  • Not been on for a few days. Saturday was very quiet £40 down on Friday night. Sunday was ok did what I had to do and went to the pub. I had £20 on Man U as well at even money. This sounds bad that I am gambling but it is account money with my mate who is a booky. He paid me £60 last night and I still have £40 lieing. Ended up having a very good night out last night and came home extremely merry at 10.

I had planned to go fishing at 8 this morning. Didn't head up till 10 as I was rattling. I only caught one broony at a pound and lost another two but I had a very relaxing enjoyable day. I am sitting here with a face like Sargeant Beetroot because it was so sunny today and what with being out in a boat the uv index doesn't need to be high to burn you. Set up for the week now shame that the sun and cold wind kept the catch down.

I am having a few beers now and waiting on dg appearing. Back to work the morra. The target his week is to get the gran together for the fancy hut. I paid everything bill wise last week and I am £600ish short for the hut but I will just put everything I make this week to that. Not ideal but these things happen.

Unfortunately my brand spanking new laptop has died and is currently doing a system reboot. God only knows what happened to that. I was quite drunk last night but I wasn't wipe a computer drunk:beer:

HI BTM..hope you're computer is easy to fix!!!!...we were down also a little over the weekend.Good luck with getting the money for the hut.I'm staying off until monday as it's quiet on days with the kids being off...is it like that there?
  • It's fixed took a wee while right enough. It's absolutely dead here. Yesterday was alrightish. Tomorrow will be busy as it always is when I am hungover:confused:

Saturday night was shocking. Couldn't believe how poor it was.

Glad you fixed it..that's a relief!!!...DH is down on his take this weekend...fri was a little down...saturday was about £30 down and last night he gave up at midnight as he'd had enough and it was quiet early doors tonight as well...daren't phone and ask him!!!..
I don't know what sort of take is good where you are average here on nights 6pm-3.30ish.....fri £180,sat £200+ ,sun £160.....mon...thurs.....he works till 1ish and takes about £100+ each night....
days at the moment are bad...this recession will bite us I guess but luckily on our firm we get a lot of young people going out(they live with their mum and dads etc) so that keeps us going...I think it's already hitting the days...all worrying times I guess.
  • On a Friday I start at 12 and work till 2ish. I have about and hour and a half off. I am looking for £210 to £220. Same on a Saturday if I work at night. Sunday is only beer money £30 to £50. Monday off. Tuesday and Wednesday £100 are the target and Thursday I will be hoping for a £150-£160. Normally make about £800 a week but that is without doing a Saturday night. I only made that last week by doing Saturday. Poor, poor week.

Normally she has phoned me by now to give me my first hire, as I am still waiting I can imagine how the day will be. I will settle for £80 just now.
We are the opposite to you. It's mainly people who are retired, don't drive, on benefits we get during the day. That is our main customers I would say. At the weekend we do alright but are not as busy as we were. Defitely less of the once a month brigade about.

Anyway I had better get moving as I won't make anything sitting here.

Hi BTM ...you are the same as us during the day retired, benefits, non drivers etc..but at night a lot of our customers are the younger end...it's about the same as here then for takings...
Hope you have a good one then ..be safe x
  • Good day the day for a pleasant change. Obviously I had to have the obligatry puncture. Two in four days. Amazingly it is repairable.

I also got the rest of my winnings from my bookmaker friend. He gave me £50 instead of the £40 I was expecting. I was in some nick on Sunday night right enough.

Beat the target as well. I only need another £460 for the fancy hut. I wish I was paying it to the cards but that can't be helped. Maybe next month:)
