Well that's another day done. Beat the target. Made the payment for the Tesco card, only overpaid a little as I am concentrating on getting the cash together for the fancy hut/summer house this month. Apart from that nothing much really to report on the dfw front. I'll be here for the forseeable future.

Only thing of note today was seeing an old friend being arrested. He is back from overseas for Easter but lets just say it has overran. He was getting lifted at the petrol station and wasn't going quietly. Four of them were struggling to get him into the back of the motor. One thing he will be on the first flight back to his current home as soon as he gets out tomorrow.

I doubt I would have calmed him as he was totally gone so I didn't intervene.

Sounds like a real positive day what with overpaying the tesco card..never mind that it's only a little it all helps as Mr Tesco says...
Shame about your friend and just as well you kept out of it as there was nothing you could do for him anyway...and in a heated situation the police can get hold of the wrong end of the stick anyway....
You're £2 coin savings are coming along nicely and your holiday savings.

I was talking to him yesterday. It was all over an outstanding warrant for £50, he doesn't do police very well and went off on one. To be fair you could see the marks where they had the cuffs to tight on his wrists. So he probably had a point.

Good day yesterday, my new laptop finally arrived, beat the target by £17. Hopefully today will be as good. I am knackered just now though and can see the next 15 hours far enough. Oh well wish me luck.

Just in for dinner. Not the busiest of days but I had a fiver at 10/1 on Comply or Die in the 4.20 at Liverpool:D It was a free bet as I had £45 lieing from Rangers beating Celtic last week. Motherwell have just beaten Celtic as well almost guaranteeing Rangers the league if they win at Tannadice tomorrow. So as dinner breaks go it has been pretty productive.

I'm shattered and the last thing I want to do is go back out to work but I said I would so I have to:( Pub for the football tomorrow. It is all that will get me through tonight. It will be mobbed as well as there is an Abbamania charity thing on tonight. My mate has a table at it and I was invited with the oh.

Well done on the win and sorry you feel so tired...saw a couple of the lads today when I popped to town and they were really quiet this morning.Hope it's busier for you tonight ..you'll soon have that fancy shed paid for...then you can please yourself what you do on a saturday night..have a good one x

Beat the target, but a long hard slog. One of the worst shifts I have worked for no jobs, I only had one but the rest of them had loads. That's it over and done though and the cash is in the cupboard for the fancy hut. Along with my National/Old Firm winning, £2 coins and tonight I have £546 saved up so far for the fancy hut.

Onlt tomorrow to go. Hopefully that will be quite easy as I am only doing 3 hours. Then i am going to watch the football and have the fishing club meeting in the pub at night. I deserve a pint or ten after tonight.
