  • Just walked to the shops spent £12.99 on mainly comfort food. It was money I never spent yesterday and as I am neither fishing or pubbing it today I am not bothering. It is Easter after all.

I will be back on the tools tomorrow.

You deserved a few (ok a lot) the way you have been working and hammering that debt. I'm sure you will be back on the road again tomorrow.

your doing well hun! my new trick is to avoid the shops! only go when u really have too! you would be suprised how much you save in a week and also if you can, take your lunch in your taxi with you! i will be buying myself a cool bag for work and reckon i should save £20 a week and as soon as its warmer i will be parking further away from work to save me an extra £3 a day. As Tesco says - every little helps! x

  • It was a lot, a great deal in fact. I'll be back at it tomorrow. Not to bad a week this week I am off on Saturday as I have another fishing trip. Looking forward to it, hope the weather improves a bit. It is absolutely Baltic here.

Thanks for the tips Lanz. I come home for my lunch. Great way to save money.

  • I just had the world's worst sleep. Tossed and turned for most of the night. Feel like I haven't slept and have a long day in front of me. Hopefully it will not be to bad. Anyway better away and get started. Wish me luck:)

Poor you sounded like a real heavy weekend!!!..hope you had a good one today..it was busy here..thank god
  • Well I made it. I never went beyond a 5 mile radius(controller knew I was rattling and kept me local, turned out he wasn't much better). I lasted right till finishing time and was only £6 short of the target. Quite pleased.

I went and got the shopping I wasn't fit to go for yesterday as well and lost 2.5lbs this week as well. So all in not to bad a day, my DG is talking to me as well which is highly unusual after a weekend like I have just had.

So only really Wednesday, Thursday and Friday to go this week. Saturday I am meant to be offas I am going fishing but the weather forecast is shocking and I can see it being cancelled. Bit dangerous out in a boat in a gale. Hopefully it will be ok.

If it is cried off I will work during the day but not at night as Rangers are playing Celtic on Saturday and even more fools are out than usual when the Old Firm play.

I will be working on Sunday hangover permitting then pub.

Must have been a well and truly mad weekend to feel so bad....rangers and celtic saturday .I will have to get my tin hat out as it will be busy here also..can be a bit heated when that match is on!!!...well done on the weight loss as well
  • Could have been worse it could have been last weekend the game was on. I would have seen the day I wouldn't have missed an OF game for the world. Now i will be quite content to be floating in a boat on the middle of a Loch trying to entice some trout to take. Hope the weather improves.

I've lost a stone since I started the dfw. I need to get back on track though. Starting tomorrow.
