I'm hoping it picks up this week as well. This nice weather isn't too good for business!!!..you had to spend the vouchers on something..so may as well be something you use.
  • It has to get worse on Thursday then colder over the rest of the weekend. I'm out more than I am working this weekend so I am hoping that today, tomorrow, Thursday and Friday give me enough to pay the bills etc. Saturday and Sunday will get spent on going out:mad:

Need to buy Easter Eggs tomorrow as well. Somerfield are doing bogof though. Still be £9 for six.

You've got to have done better than me today...it was really slow so I came home at 11.30am....£50 ish....terrible....got my easter eggs when they were on offer at 99p each at Tescos the other week..they seem to have shot up now....Hope you make plenty before the weekend then...I'm off now until fri morning..take carex
  • Better day did over the ton. That's the target for a Wednesday. Got off to a flier and didn't look back. I went out to a flat tyre this morning right enough. Luckily there was enough air in it to drive it to the garage. It was just the right side of legal but I got a new one fitted anyway, £40. I don't need to pay that till next week as I have an account with the garage. All in all work wise a good day and as the boss is away to the caravan for most of the Summer starting tomorrow I will be calling the shots:D

Got the Easter Eggs 6 for £10 they can like them or lump them. OH can say what she likes about them. If she wants the Summer House/ fancy hut built next month I need to make cutbacks somewhere.

Well done ...that was a nice take and is usually about what I take on a wednesday but sometimes you just can't get going IYSWIM...you're tyres not a bad price either..can't see why your OH will pass comment on the eggs as at that price they aren't going to be bad ones.Have a good one tomorrow x
  • Hi BTM & Taxi - I seem to follow you around!!
Glad you had a good day, the O/D is coming down nicely, soon that will be one out of the way & the charges you are paying now can be thrown towards another debt.
I found as soon as I got rid of the £2000 O/D I had, I was almost £30 better off a month.
    Keep it up - I'm watching you:eek:
Comping again - wins so far : 2 V festival tix, 2 NFL tix, 6 bottles of wine, personalised hand soap, Aussie miracle conditioner

    Ouch long shift!!!..be safe
  • This is me just managing to get my dinner break. Normally get an hour between 6 and 7. Eventually get half an hour at 9. In years to come I will look back at this and laugh and wonder how I managed it. Finishing at 12.30ish so only 3 hours to go:)

  • Hi Busy,
Sounds like you working hard, but at least it all bringing you one step nearer to freedom from debt. I was pleased today when setting my new monthly budget as we had only bought five non essential items last month!! During the previous month we had spent stupid money so I am learning !! Anyway have a safe shift. It is really windy here dont know about where you are .
