you can pretty much use any bread machine cake recipie. Like you, I wanted to try some different cakes so I bought myself a bread machine book which has some nice cakes in it. .

Must say though, I love my panny :happyhear last night I made the honey and sunflower seed loaf from the Panasonic manual and had some toasted this morning. It's just so lovely, here's a picture of when it came out:

I bought a couple of honey and sunflower seed rolls from morrisons this week for my lunch and they were yummy. I was hoping to find a recipe to make in my breadmaker and then just make up into rolls and cook in the oven.

If you have time can you post the recipe please ??

    I've been Money Tipped!
I continue to be amazed by the 255; everything comes out PERFECT

Off to make a banana cake now
    That's Numberwang!
  • If your putting seeds in try putting them in last so they soak the water before cooking then put the bread on a timer for around 8 hours, the seeds are then like butter when you cut them!
Lets get this straight. Say my house is worth £100K, it drops £20K and I complain but I should not complain when I actually pay £200K via a mortgage:rolleyes:
  • That's it getting rid of my morphy richards and going out to buy a panasonic!
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

jenny would you post that recipe you mentioned for a berry cake please. I got 37cm parchment paper from tesco so that will be big enough to line the bread pan.

I totally agree with morganb, everything from the panasonic is completely wonderful

Lindens & Kittie. Not forgotten, promise to post for you this afternoon. Will PM you when I've done it.

Just a tip on the Berrie cake. I use the frozen berry mix from Tesco/Sainsburys. For 2 reasons - you get a mix of berries, plus folding in frozen berries keeps them whole. I tried with fresh ones once and they just got squished. It's a pretty fool-proof recipe. I was watching the football last night and fancied some cake so mixed all the ingredients together during half-time - hee, hee. 50 minutes later, tea and cake - wonderful when warm!

the pizza dough is absolutely fantastic, my husband loves dominos pizza because of the base (i don't adore the price or the taste) and i rolled out the dough on a sprinking of semolina then add yummy toppings. he prefers it to dominos! woo. absolutely gorgeous pizza, lovely base, not soggy, risen crusts, perfect.

I love my panny. bought from amazon as had stock unlike JL or lakeland or some other electrical retailers i found.
