The only thing I don't like about my panasonic 253 is the lack of a window in the top. I want to sit and stare at it while it makes dough!!Signature No Longer acceptable -

I have a Pansonic breadmaker, and am just making bread.
I have the bread pan on the scales and took it off to put water in it.
Unfortunately, the second I took it off, the scales automatically switched off.
So I have no idea how much water is in it, because although I know the weight of the other ingredients, I don't know the weight of the pan (including the kneading blade).
So could someone kindly weigh their pan for me, so I don't have to throw my ingredients away. Thanks!
(I have a Panasonic SD-253, but I guess other models probably have the same pan...)0 -
I'll do it now. xMay all your dots fall silently to the ground.0

Is there a significant difference between bread made on the Rapid Bake and the longer one on the Panasonic Breadmaker?
I am making a wholemeal at the moment which will take 5 hrs however if I had done it on the Rapid Bake it would only have taken 3hrs - would I have noticed any difference?0 -
I used to use the 5 hour option, but was in a hurry one day and used the rapid bake, you use slightly more yeast, but the result is very much the same and it saves you 2 hours. I must admit I used to use the normal bake overnight..........Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0
