AnW's mum - huge big hugs, will be thinking of you. If you feel shaky, then if you close your eyes and think of us, we'll be right there with you. Promise.
:T thanks, it is great to know there are friends here who care.
Well I went to MIL's, it was fairly obvious that SIL had told her of the info as they weren't as shocked as they would have been had they not heard it before. But at least in my mind I know I have done my best. She still wants to go but at least she has all the facts to hand. You never know she might change her mind over the next day or two. I now need to file that and concentrate on what I need to do to get through it all.
A & W have been stars today, I forgot there was a swimming gala on hence all lessons cancelled. So A along to bellringing where she had a lesson form Grandadshe did very well. She wants to 'take' me 10 pin bowling tomorrow for mothers day, after we have been to church which she needs to be in cub uniform for (note to self to sew on latest badge!) so need to ring up and see if they have a lane free at Centretainment, will prob go for KFC afterwards.

Morning all. Happy Mothers Day.
AnW'sMum well done at least now you have done what you needed to.
Have had a huge row with OH this morning and I hate the flowers he got (no I have not told them that) with the DS1 I know that sounds ungrateful but they are one of those mixed bunches with garish carnations etc. I have tactfully said many times how much nicer a simple bunch of daffs are but does he listen? Feeling really tearful now and I have DS2's footie to go to.
Not looking forward to going to Mum's later as she will make remarks like oh you haven't been here since Boxing Day etc.
Soappie you have so made the right decision - wish I could be at home alone.
Sorry moan over hope you all enjoy whatever you are doing. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Morning all!
Well, I'm still in bedCards have been given to me by my DD, with a badge no less, LOL and a big bunch of daffs (sorry DustyKitten) ... but yes they're lovely.
Was meant to be going for a long (well long for me) run today, but can't be bothered, so instead DD, DH and I are going to a local NT property for a walk and some lunch. Flying can happen another day ... as in fact this coming week it's going to have to as DH is having a business meeting at home :eek:.
Right, time for a soak in the bath ... oh the hardshipsGC - March 2024 -0 -
Happy Mothers day to all us mothers
Todays nice, i have my kids running around saying "do you want anything mum or need anything doing?I'm going to get a tidy house and i don't even have to lift a finger :j
Loads of cuppas as well, cool0 -
Hey there & for the mums - Happy Mothers Day @--> *tilt your head, squint a little and you might see a flower!
As far as the list goes - kids beds done, about 6 bags of clothes and bits and half a box of books so far... the worst part is that I haven't actually been in any of the nightmare rooms yet - just practicing being ruthless!
Hope you all have a great day
gtg 40 mins until we need to leave for the next (and last) party :j0 -

A card and a little lie in for me here.
Another busy morning in our house. DS still off it, although getting better - i've not had to wash any soiled clothes or bedding this morning, so he must be slightly better. It's been a whole week now, and i will need to make a decision if he can go to nursery tomorrow, depending on how he is.
At least he is eating now. I'm sure that has helped make a difference.- [strike]hoover run around upstairs done, still need to do downstairs[/strike]

Morning all xxx
MY hips are killing me.. I slipped on some spilled beer last night and almost did myself an injury.. then I woke up this morning and felt the injury!! Ibuprofen here I come!!
Next weekend apparently my mother, myself and DD2 are going to Crufts!! I hate dogs!!!!!! lol.. She won't take DD2 on her own so I have to go too.. even though DD2 is an absolute angel... 99.9% of the time.
My right eye is sore, my throat is sore, my head is full of snot my nose won't stop running and I have coughs and sneezes!!!
I am going to sort through the ebay stuff and cull a bit of it off to charity shop/nursery and see what there is I can relist. I think I might just stick everything on BIN's to stagger the sales.. I have a bag of stuff to post tomorrow too..
Right.. off to write this weeks list of torture.. any requests before I start??
I need my bedroom & the middle room to be on all 5 days and the weekend!! lol
Those people who have more than 1 reception/living room.. when do you do the extra rooms?? I have 3 reception rooms.. the back room I do in place of 'the study' because the pc is in there.. and the other never gets a look in (ie the middle room).. so.. when do you do yours?LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Also did my online shopping with a proper menu plan - so hopefully will stick to this one!
Just finishing off cooking Sunday dinner. Plans for later are to finish ironing and get all kids clean and ready for school tomorrow.
Best get a shift on - see you later!0 -

Others follow suit but are.. Daughter (DD), son (DS), granddaughter (DGD), grandson (DGS).. so on and so forth... family members...
Sometimes there are DD1/DD2/DS3/ etc.. the number refers to their ranking.. Daughter/son 1, or 2 or 3 etc.. eg.. I have my brood consisiting of..
DS1, DD1, DS2, DD2, DS3, DD3, DD4 and DD5..
hope this helps!
