  • Everything just went wrong so have come home for a quick coffee and a catch up before I need to go to pick up everyone.

I *should* have gone to the bank 1st - couldn't complete paperwork (because I had just posted other id), so I need to go back again with some extra id... might take lo out tomorrow and do that.

Then I went to lino place and would need 1 or 2 joins ( we already have 2) so no point changing. DH must be buttering me up for something - since it was him that suggested it

moo2moo - have a (hug) you sound like you are up against it just now - I only have our bedroom, the upstairs bathroom, the playroom and the garage to declutter (the thought of it sends me loopy at times :o ) if DH had his way there would be a skip here now and I would be filling it... the house was a lot worse than this though - just takes time - lots of it - which you don't sound like you have, so please stop putting yourself under so much pressure.

tia - hope your lo is feeling better soon - hugs always help ;)

FrankieM - hope your OH is ok

Shell- Have fun trying on your suits - and good luck for the interview.

    ok gtg, bye

Congratulations on setting the date! My advice would be - it's YOUR wedding, when everyone offers you tonnes of advice just say 'thankyou, i'll think about that' (you can scream and rant when you've left the room!).

Dusty - it moved again, has she got a cat?

I have no idea? Could be a localised earth tremor (listen woman we are supposed to be making this reporting interesting for our audience - your cat idea is too tame!)

LG congratulations - I hope you have a wonderful day. I found getting married really stressful because of the involvement of others so sorry can offer no advise.

Congratulations likklegibbon, its your wedding, do it exactly how you want. We put a few noses out of joint when we got married, we didnt allow kids at the meal and we didnt invite every single last person in our family because we happened to be related! We narrowed it down, basically to members of our family we would recognise if we walked past them in the street:rotfl: I think Coleen McCloughlan has it spot on!

  • GnB - glad you said that - I don't want to invite most of Dad's relations as we only see them at weddings and funerals, I couldn't pick most of em out of a line up of two and they always start a fight. At least because we're paying for the wedding ourselves, we'll get the final say-so in who's invited.

Dad asked me the other day why, after more than 10 years together me and OH have decided to get hitched so I said bluntly, in my oh so tactful way "cause I want you there in body, not in spirit, you old croc" - I love him really:D
    I'd rather be watching CSI!

moo2moo - if you've already got a train set in your bedroom, you wouldn't mind looking after another one, would you? You really would hardly notice it....

Congratulations likklegibbon on booking your wedding. We had 11 guests at our wedding. Registrar office, then sit down meal in a pub nearby. I expect we upset people. I know I upset MIL. But that was a bonus. It's your day, do it your way. Been married 35 years last August so it doesn't seem to jinx things ;)

    Oh I get it.....right here goes...take two:

Wow, did you see the camera move. Do you think the fiat's owner has broken into the house as they're trying to steal the details to the operational camera so they can park back on the drive?

    Any better.

Frankie...it's all part of operation ORF (operation red fiat)....we're seeing who is parking on Soappie's drive. Mind you, i'm starting to wonder if maybe there is no car and soappie is just using us as cheap labour to keep an eye on her house! :rotfl:
