  • Grrrh - a pig of a day here (no offense Pigpen) - can I start over again?

Bad day at the office and topped by me locking me and DS out tonight (by accident). Lovely friend with a spare key came a long way out of her way to let us back in.

Now cross and in a mood to eat - so will rapidly feed DS and then whiz up the soup I made yesterday - vats of veg soup can't be too bad for you can they?

OK - now how much can I get done tonight of the "list"?

    see you all later

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

**runs to the loo after nearly wetting myself laughing at pigpen's poem**

Hope you are feeling better soon and manage to find which elephant is missing tonsils!

Moam - big hugs for you aswell, tomorrow will be a better day :D

:rotfl: @ the cheek of some roofers, 'we'll come round and sort it then leave you a bill' errrr NO! They change their mind when I tell them I am not paying so need an estimate. I also told them what time to call, couldn't have 3 at once, however would have been funny if they started a price war in front of me.

Anyway, that's hopefully sorted, had a chat with landlady's Mam on the phone who is nice too, going to sort the estimates then call her on Monday. I know what the LL has been through over the last couple of years and feel rotten having to complain about something but I know it's in her best interests to have it done. See if DP didn't live here I'd have probably paid for it myself because I am too nice but he wouldn't let me do that.

Someone said we have snow forecast this weekend, eeek!
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200

Afternoon - though I suppose it's evening now - ladies.

 Thank you all for your stirling work today, you can stand down until Monday - I have an appointment tomorrow morning so am working from home so my car will be on the drive all day.

However, I might just have it pointing at random places over the weekend if you're really bored and feel like being nosey you can always log on and see - tomorrow is Friday night and I normally have a gin with my neighbour, so I might just have it pointing at the gin bottle :D

sorry about the camera moving. I have admin privileges and was playing this afternoon - trouble is our system at work is SOOOO slow, it took me a while to realise the connection was actually lost and the camera was not pointing where I expected it to be.

And I think my most exciting time when I was viewing was when the Jewson lorry arrived - on of those big flat loaders with two grabbers. It went up the road, reversed back down the road,up the road again and then reversed back etc.

    ORF off

    Right, flylady business.

Big hugs to all those who are feeling ill or grumpy or out of sorts. It's a bit of that sort of day in these 'ere parts- totally gloomy and overcast - doesn't make one feel cheerful.

Right, I'd better go and clean the bathroom before Pigpen tells me off for doing too much snooping and not enough flying.

I am shattered today - lots of classes today, and several with no work set - learning very fast to come up with something to do!! I haven't yet had a call, so not sure if I'm working tomorrow - I'll have to get up at 6.15 and be ready just in case. Anyway, if I'm at home flying, I shall be doing so well made up for a change!

I'm having this evening off - not too good an example to set, but too tired to face the bathroom. I have tried to keep on top of the decluttering though.

lg - I agree with all the others - this is your day, you do what you both want. OH and I married after 5 years together, and paid for most of it, so I made it very clear that the day went exactly as I wanted, or we'd shoot off to the registry office on our own. I'm selfish like that! Only regrets - I didn't check that the petticoat was the right length, and had to do some last minute pinning up, and it shows in the photos, and the organist played the wrong music as we were leaving!! Not that bad, and if nothing goes wrong, what are you going to talk about at all the family get togethers??:D

Now I've forgotten who it was that was emptying the room to clean it - I do that!! It has taken almost a year to empty the main bedroom, but I did it! I just have to shift the contents fom the living room... Don't panic, just remember that it didn't take one day to get to that state and it needn't take just one day to clear it. I used the allocated bedroom day to do a bit more every week.

Must go cook. Spaghetti bolognese, as I can't be bothered to do meatballs.

that would be a tad hyporitical of me as I've done absolutely nothing all day.. go see my list!!

I really need to sort my tip,
I have not got a lemsip!

My ears are bunged, my nose is runny,
The children think it is very funny,
    my throat is sore,

I really don't know what to do
    I think I have got man-flu!

    !!!!!!!!{pigpen}}}}}
That sounds like me - minus the sore throat.
Yesterday I was walking (crawling) round clutching a box of tissues - every time I leaned forward my nose ran, like a %&*! tap - sorry TMI.
