on a more serious note, over the last few weeks DS, DD (who dosent live with us) and me have all started getting very dry skin! DS was scracrting befor and when he showed me his leg it was bleeding. has anyone got any ideas for trearting it? my theory as to this happening is that the water people have put to much of some sort of new chemical in the water  don't laugh they might of.

We've all had this problem fallen angel. I've started using the double base cream my son gets from doctor. It's really good because it's not greasy. Think you can get stuff like that over the counter at the chemist. Me, dd and ds have all started getting flaky and itchy. Must be in the water as DH away a lot and is fine xx
  • Evening folks. ;)

Had another fun filled day today. Yet another exploded mucky nappy, so all bedding and DS clothes washed before work. Thank heavens for our mod cons.

Parents day was good, but i ended up spending my free time between appointments dealing with problems that came up with the meetings that i had. Also preparation for the meetings still to come. The guy i share the form with turns up at 12:30 in time for lunch, and all the preparation was done surprisingly, so i got to 3:30 and said, deal with the rest of it. I left him mostly nice kids, and i had demonstrated nicely how to make a kid feel really bad by making her cry. Felt awful, but she needed telling to pull her socks up. I just hope he did the rest of it properly as it will reflect bad on me if not.

also, had a good clear out of my room - my head of faculty has organised for someone to come and collect any old textbooks we don't want, and he packed up 4 huge boxes of them out of my room after i pointed out to him what was no good. Nice to see the boss doing some skivvying - plus not like i can lift sets of textbooks at the moment.

DH had a good day with DS. He slept loads for him so he managed to do about 4 hours of paperwork, and so feels able to take tomorrow off work. HE also managed to assemble the new airer, hang up DS's washing from this morning, and get another load in the WM.

Brill as i have all morning off till 12:50 tomorrow, and that means i should theoretically get my head down and get on tomorrow in that time.

    plan for tomorrow:
    • mark y7 h/w
    • find a h/w to give to y7 and y10
    • plan y10 revision lesson
    • mark y9 test
    • photocopy 7/8/9 test results to give to L
    • hyperlink worksheet L typed for me to 8GH scheme
    • talk to MW about problem in humanities with my y11 student
    • find out what happened with y11 student at college interview today, and then record in ILP
    • plan for monday, particularly for y9
    • make test paper grids for y7 and y8 tests this week.
    • mark some books
    • try and remember to phone dentist for an appointment once mat leave starts as i am due a check up on my due date -think NOT!
    • find out what past papers G has done with y11 so i know what to use
oh, also had to have a strop today. The student loan company took a DD from my old bank account, and then wrote to me 3 days later to tell me about it. Luckily i had money in there to pay it, but i rang them anyway and ranted, and then sent an email as well, telling them their lack of notice could have meant me suffering severe financial hardship. I now have to pay them £22 a month as i now work less hours, so  to them. Don't need yet another bill as i am about to start mat leave. I will survive though.

Did i mention today, 15 days to go :T
