G&b hope you are feeling better soon.

Well I made myself do an hours study when I got back from walking DS2 to school before I even plugged the internet thingamy in. I finally got stuck, which I knew would happen at some point as it was being too easy, mid way through question 3. So have left it now as I had studied for 1 hour and 4 minutes without a break and did get question 2 finished aswell as making the start on 3. Will go back to it later. Grrr. Will have another bash from 10.30am to 11.30am or go onto the next question and come back to it if I get annoyed with it.

Right, housework, washer filled and started, DW emptied while getting the boys sorted and that is about all I have done so far, will hang washing out before next study and slosh some stuff in the bath etc. I wiped over the desk before I started but there is no hope in me keeping it tidy as I am using 3 books etc to work on.
One day I might be more organised...........

Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb
  • Good morning everyone,

Vanilla - Well done for passing your exam.

G&B - hope you are feeling better soon.

ORF operatives - Good luck with your mission!

Pigpen - If you want more (oh forgotten their proper name) the doberries for the stairs, try phoning round local scrap metal merchants (prob not the sort that take cars) DH had some in last week (but were brass plated) but they are already away (markets were up last week!) I have asked him to keep an eye out but he doesn't get them in that often.

lil_me - Hope you have a better day today.

:j got kids to school early - normally when we *have* to be somewhere at a certain time the main road gets closed off - like ds's nursery graduation

So dropped DH off, drove home, DW, WM, TD ---> coffee and a quick catch up.

ok better go and get something done, see you all later.

Seem to have a new lease of life this morning. It helps if I do my housework before I switch on the computer otherwise my bum gets glued to the seat (apart from frequently going to the kitchen to top up my coffee mug!)

What I've done so far yesterday and today (tried to do catch-up)

Magnificent Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level One
[STRIKE]Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces[/STRIKE] I try and keep on top of that so it's not usually too bad.
    Level Two
    [STRIKE]Sweep and mop floors[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Sort & clean fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front, clean out any spills or grots in there![/STRIKE] Ditto the kitchen surfaces
[STRIKE]Open the cutlery drawer.. and clean and degrot in there[/STRIKE] Ditto
[STRIKE]Wipe dining table.. (clean table cloth if necessary) [/STRIKE] Wiped after every meal - don't use a cloth.
    Level Three
[STRIKE]Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round[/STRIKE] Did that today.
[STRIKE]Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc [/STRIKE] Ditto kitchen surfaces.
Clean out the cupboard full of baking bits.. or cereal.. or both!! Errrr. Not done this yet!
[STRIKE]Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances .. don't forget those kick boards..[/STRIKE] Ditto kitchen surfaces
[STRIKE]Check those filters and drawers for ickiness, gackiness and fluff!![/STRIKE] Powder goes into the drum - it all gets used in the wash that way. Dryer is de-fluffed each time I use it.
    Extra Mission
    Choose one or more of:
    • [STRIKE]Clean oven if it needs it.. or just do the hob or just a knob[/STRIKE] Wiped out every time it's used. Never that messy as we're vegetarian.
    • [STRIKE]Empty the bin.. wash it out.. and make it smell SWEET[/STRIKE]

    [STRIKE]Dust surfaces & make sure no cobwebs...[/STRIKE]

(living things do not count.. that includes pets, insects, arachnids, parasites, children and husbands/OH's)[/STRIKE] There always seems to be stuff which needs taking to the dump/charity shop!
Twinkling Thursday - Bathroom and Study/Pc Area
    Level One
[STRIKE] Clean floors in these rooms
Air the room.. fling open the windows and let in the springy air!! I don't care if it is 13' below!! lol[/STRIKE]

We call them parrots too. "Why is there no aspirin in the jungle? The parrots eat 'em all!"

Just off to get some now - got a blinding headache.
