Use an old bank card or tesco club card to scrape it off.Try the hot credit card scrape!!!
Use an old bank card, dunk the edge in a cup of very hot water then use it, whilst hot, to scrape the wax off.
The heat will help separate the wax blob from the floor and the bendy plastic should not scrape the wood too much.
  • I have caught up. :rotfl:

I feel bad for moaning when some of you have worse.

kaz sorry to hear about gran

shell good luck for that interview. Hopefully something you will enjoy.

pigpen i think i should introduce you to my mum, she is going in to school on Friday as my bro was pushed through a window at his mechanics course, and they are trying to make him pay nearly £90 for replacing it. She is hopping as it was supposed to be safety glass for a start, and he has a meeting with the Asst Head who is renowned for being a bully - with staff and kids. I think he'll end up worse off.

vanilla i haven't seen any news on that, but will look out for it. Sounds awful.

Anyway, load of washing to hang up and then quick bath before bed so i don't offend anyone who has to come near me.

Not making a list for tomorrow, but plan is to make use of any free moments if i get them to mark/catch up at work.

they are providing lunch, so no pack up to make in the morning, and as DH is having DS, just me to get up and get out the door, so the whole day should be less tiring.

    Will see you all tomorrow.
    Michelle, x

    Pigpen emailed you about quidco.

You are a total star! It's come off perfectly. I managed to get bright red wax right across the living room floor and you've saved my bacon!

Galant - did you mean to thank the spam! You're just too nice :rotfl: . My finger was hovering over the thanks button till I realised!

I did go mad but to be honest I was so relieved it hadn't got lost!!!
  • Is it a mirena? My coil was an old one, which was ok, except for the insertion which was the most painful thing ever!!! I thought that they could perforate the womb, which is why you are supposed to get them checked. Also, you get the check after 6 weeks just to check that you havent picked up an infection. But I dont know too much about the mirena, although I was thinking about it. I dont have it anymore, it made my periods awful. On the mini pill because I'm fat, old and have high blood pressure.

    Lil-me - I promice to behave. Please don't put my anywhere near that Pigpen as I wouldn't survive. I'm a nice, well bought up girl and she's down right scary. {Mudbath on best behaviour ever with duster in one hand and stardrops in the other}

That is impressive, duster, stardrops AND typing all at the same time :p
