  • Evening, yet another late one for me after getting DS picked up, and surviving another working day. Only one blazing row with a kid, and a lesson observation sprung on me at the last minute, and a break detention. I survived though, and have found a new way to entertain y9's. They were enthralled with watching my belly move every time i spoke, so they were all concentrating on that and not what i was saying, but it was better than the usual shout moan rant shout get hot get flustered get mad get madder shout some more, punish a large number of them route. ;)

Had a number of dizzy spells again today, but i think that was the heat and the general business of the day - tomorrow is a day off timetable though for parents interviews so at least i can sit down for the day, and will probably get home a bit earlier as i am halfing the work load with the guy i share the form with.

    • [strike]packed lunch made[/strike]
    • [STRIKE]load car[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]drop DS at sisters again[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]form time - send y8 to an assembly, try to make appointments with last 2 students before parents into school day on Thursday, start printing out grades for interviews, check the attendance certificates are there for thursday[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]y11 lesson - use the gained time to find a starter for y7 lesson today, plan y9 lesson, [/STRIKE]also mark y9 test
    • [STRIKE]teach y8 - remember to collect in h/w[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]break detention for any that forget[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]teach y7 -collect in h/w[/STRIKE]
    • photocopy 7/8/9 test marks and give to technician
    • mark y7 h/w
    • [STRIKE]teach y9 - collect in their h/w[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]do detention with y10 [/STRIKE]and y7 and paperwork completed for ones who didn't turn up
    • [STRIKE]make sure room is tidy ready for parent interviews[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]pick up DS[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]bed and bath time routine at mum's again[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]bring DS home[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]cook dinner[/STRIKE]
    • ironing
    • bath
    • bed
    extras:
    • WM - load of soiled stuff
    • complete predicted grades for my 2 x y10 classes and 1 x y11 class for the exam next week
    • have lesson observation feedback
    • talk to student teacher about progress next week in preparation for y11 exam
    • DH went to Meadowhell to swap broken airer for new one and to buy a mothers day card for his mum - if he was being truly useful he would have picked me one for mine as well even if she is being a PITA at the moment.
    • DH went and got bread and milk on way home
At the moment i am too tired to even read the thread, so i think i may save that delight for tomorrow evening. Hopefully i am fully prepared for parents day tomorrow, cos it will be long and tiring in another way. 16 days and counting.

    Michelle, x

 Too much information! I remember losing mine and going to see the doctor only to be told it had been removed when they'd done a different operation a few months before (in a related area!!). They're just not told me! Luckily I didn't get pregnant!:rotfl:

  • Oh what a day! Been out since 9.15 am and got home at 4.30. I only went out to an exercise class, do a mystery shop and the dentist! Blooming traffic, road works etc. Oh, also managed to pop into the pub en route to the dentist as I was early. My dentist is in a small village with one bus an hour, so I walked the mile and a half from the main road. And I've got an infection (in my gums) and it is disgusting, but hopefully the dentist has got most of it cleared it up. Have been sitting drinking cider, for medical purposes of course, chatting on the phone and watching the crappy football. And I managed to make some chicken stock. Was that the first time you had made stock G&B? This was my first time, we'll see how it goes.

Free bingo tomorrow and its pay day :j :j :j

    Hugs to everyone xx
