Evening!
Just taken ages catching up with you all. Hugs to all in need. ((((HUGS))))
Didn't manage to get anything done after meeting - as we were there over 2 hours!!!! Some people like the sound of their own voices FAR TOOOO MUCH.
Rant over!
My fab Mum has washed the floors and swept today - so hopefully that will let me off some of the tasks on the list. I did plan to get some ironing done - but feeling tired and grumpy so might not!
I absolutely must not never fall off the wagon again never - spoken in my bestest Lola impression! I hate it when it's all messy and stuff - but work seems to get in the way! Keep nagging me please!!
Right - off to see if I can manage a bit of ironing - or see if I can persuade DH to get amorous. Anything rather than the ironing!!!!!!!0 -
Hi everyone, and welcome to even more ex-lurkers and newbies!!
Fairly enjoyable day today, and I'm back at the same school tomorrow. I did history, and geography today, with one lesson of ICT with no work set with a bottom set.. they were a nice group of kids, and I felt rather sorry for them. They said that they often have cover teachers... they just seem very unmotivated, which is not really surprising as they are probably bored silly. I've been asked to go back to a school I went to before half term, the one that I didn't like so much It will be interesting to see if I like it better this time. I really can't pinpoint what it was that I didn't like either, as the school has quite good Ofsted reports and results.
Flying wise, I have managed to wash the bedlinen, drying at the moment, but that is it - oh, loads of clothes washing as well. If I'm not working Friday, I'll do a catch up then. I should be able to start putting stuff into the new wardrobe at the weekend. I'll post a photo - I've waited 20 years for this wardrobe, and I'm really pleased with it!! Then, I can concentrate on the finishing touches in the living room and main bedroom.
DS2 and friend were here for dinner, as they are doing a course at the police station for the Duke of Edinburgh award, and had to be there for 6.30pm. The friend doesn't have time to go home and back, so I'm feeding and delivering and the other mum will pick up.
Thinking of all of you who are in need of some warm thoughts at the moment. It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
