Aww Elantan, I hope things have blown over in the light of day. We all know how we can be so argumentative when we've had a drink, we're lucky we can see that that's all it is and we know it's an illness.

I hope you get it all sorted out today ((((())))))

i hope every one is ok. i am ringing up to arrange my appointment for a councellor this morning, i am actually quite looking forward to it.
i used to feel like i was the only one who had this crazy relationship with the booze but after reading everyones posts, i see so many similarities and habits and reasons that i relate to, i would never have been able to speak to some body before, so big thanks -:A

well today he is trying to act like nothing has happened ...but i'm afraid i am too emotionally empty to be supportive and pretend nothing happened ..

He probably cant remember half of what he said to you last night.
Maybe you should try to talk to him today whilst he is sober.He may be shocked to realize how much he has hurt you because of alcohol.

Woke up this morning very bright and breezy - virtually unheard of for a Monday:rotfl:

Am feeling happy and confident with my decision so far (but very early days) thanks for your good vibes everyone!

Elantan we all say things we don't mean when fuelled by the evil stuff - I know I just cringe at some of the things I can hardly believe I have said to my OH (not to mention the things he reminds me of in the light of day)It is of little consolation but I am sure he didn't mean them - I hope you are okay?

i am tired and empty shoppy i know we all say things when we are drunk but that fact doesnt make the hurting any less ..he is now trying to make out it was much a do about nothing (which it was ) and i am just bitter cause he drank ...so there we go no blame for him just for me ...i feel i have had enough and have told him this ...i think i will move into the spare bedroom for a while to be honest ...i dont want this kinda life anymore and only i can change that
