so true...blooming birds....
never got the hang of non alcoholic beer...too close to reality probably...I'm safer with a coffee...For what I've done...I start again...And whatever pain may come ...Today this ends... I'm forgiving what I've done -AF since June 20070 -
Hi all, not had much chance to get on here the last couple of days, but will try to grab an hour later to catch up with your posts. OH & I ended up sharing a can on Wednesday,so she kindly left one for me to drink last night! No more beer in the house til we go shopping Friday & OH working tonight & tomorrow night. This makes it so much easier for me when there's no beer in the house to be honest. Going to wedding do on Saturday night which we are looking forward to. Will make sure I pace myself though so I don't end up getting hammered! Why howdy do.
Hope all is well. BHB and Mollypolly you are doing just great....................where did that time go ?
I've been reading back through the posts........................it's been a quiet weekend. I think everyone is suffering with PMT............................Pre-Match tension...................he he ! :rotfl:It's all going off on Wednesday.................getting pretty nervous myself. It looks like YM and AB are already lying down in darkened rooms!!
I'm on day 24...............and not missing the stuff at all.....................thanks to Allen Carr and you.
I think I may have cracked it...................how do I know?...................well I went to see my BF on Friday ( a let's give it another go night) and he opened a bottle of wine to celebrate and poured me a glass. BF did know I'd stopped drinking......................I'd spoken at length about the reasons for stopping and that I'd read the Allen Carr book and no longer felt the need to drink. Anyhow to cut a long story short I forced this bloody glass of wine down my neck ( my favourite wine btw) and hated every sip of it. An hour later I'd finished the blasted thing and declined a refill. BF was quite amazed as I can usually guzzle a bottle of wine in that amount of time. I felt amazed to................being in an emotional situation and with my favourite bottle of wine....................and there I was just wanting to be there in the moment............no crutch to lean on.................standing on my own two feet !! :rotfl:And yes ! the big romance is back on....................although it has been a bit of a roller coaster ride....................the pepsi max sort as well.................:eek::eek:
Have a lovely Monday.

:T:T:T:T Good Job Nearly There! I think we can let you off one little blip. You know you have to buy us all a round if you have two blips on two consecutive days
Mollypolly - You are doing great too! It does feel great though doesn't it? I still have the occasional craving though - I know its thirst and sugar levels more than the beer though and as long as I remember that I should be OK. Must get a copy of this book. Is it a heavy read - I'm a little dsloxic and am not a good reader. You can probably tell by my typing and spelling
Anyway Have a great day everyone
Bit chilly but the sun is out!
Best Wishes for a great day
