Evenng all. Sorry havent been on much - had a dire week in work & SO pleased its Friday! Had a good book group on Monday & just had 3 drinks (G&T & 2 pimms) & stayed off the wine. Also managed to avoid the "dark isle" in Sains (just as well as bill came to almost 50 as it was!) plus didnt get ciggies so on that front am chuffed as could have killed for both! Had some sweets instead!
Taken ages to catch up with you all! Firstly a MAJOR well done BHB!! I'm so proud of you!! Esp with Mrs BHB swilling so close - bet she has a dire hangover after & regretted drinking the lot? (memory reminds me of when I did the same a couple of weeks ago & lost a Sat!). On the music front have borrowed a friends duffy album & its fab - wanted to see if I likes it enouht to get it with my HMV survey vouchers & I def do!! Can recc it!
Have you started on the tabs yet Jo? Why not use the weekend to start so at least if you do get tired you can have time to recover? Well done o the cutting down TNG. Baby steps! I started cutting dow & feel so much better for it that it made me not want to drink. Can also recc taking 1000mg of vit c a day for generally feeling better! Have got much more energy & its great at boosting the immunity but do read up on it first (ie I'm not giving medical advice!)!
Thanks for the DVD whoever posted it (pages back sorry!)...very powerful & true of so many. Thankfully have never got to that stage and wouldnt want to but have lived with some who have...not pleasant and I still bear the scars Very sad to see people you love killing themselves like that and nothing you can do to help...
I keep missing the trolls...not a bad thing cos theres nowt worse than a troll...ugly inside & out. If they come back people please just ignore them because they want you to react but if you say nowt they will go away! Hard at times I know and I've been known to retort!! Thankfully most on here are lovely & supportive but just like in real life (lol!) you get the odd w****!! Brain the same size as their whatsits which is why they is trolls (and yes mr trll I know thats incorrect grammer & that I didnt use capitals appropriately and cant spell, dyslexia does that to you!)!
Anyway, hugs for those who need them, hang in there! The wagon ride is so much nicer when youre on the wagon rather than holding on as it bumps along!

Well i am cheap but i do like a good bottle of red, But it is becoming a real BAD habit. Tax ye car tax going up to £400 a year. Good job i have a wheel barrow for me the wife and 3 kids... bloody arms ache though god i need a drink.:beer:

I think it's the tax we pay on everything that is amazing...every time petrol goes up the govt gets more money out of us!

I quote a cost of 15p/mile to the mile so they understand that it cost money to go anywhere...

I'm afraid that a bottle of wine didn't touch the sides so you can imagine how tempting the buy two get one free offers were....of course it wasn't really free but it was good enough for me...

dunno...I've got an exam on Thursday so I keep the computer off as I get distracted easily....
