Hi - I'm sure it's been asked before so apologies, but which slowcooker should I get? I want to spend about £30 - £40 on one, probably from Argos.

    Many thanks!!

Hi, Ive got a slow cooker (although dont use it as often as i should!), ive got a morphy richards one, only £20 at argos at the mo, its fine, dont think you need to pay a lot for one, this does the trick just nicely. Theres a newer one ive just seen whilst looking for mine to show you, and its basically the same but black!

The large modern ones seem operate at a higher rate of heat than than the old type crock pot ones.

We have both but tend to use the old one, bought for a fiver at a car boot sale.
I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.

I have this one, and it is great, suitable for my family of 4 with left overs to freeze or use the next day. I love it. especially this time of year.

We have one of these too, it works, ours is cream. Make sure you buy the right size for yourself/family though.

Ah - I was hoping for one that I could make food for four in - there are only two of us, but I want to make enough for two meals at a time, if that makes sense? Will the Morphy Richards one work for that amount?

I will have to get the black one, I know my other half will insist!! xx
