Hi Daniel,
I'll move your thread over to the MoneySaving Old Style board where most of the slow cooker threads are.

Hiya
This is a question that's well suited for our long running thread on buying a slow cooker, which and why, so, as you can see, I've now merged it for you.
Posts are listed in date order so if you need more questions answered you'll have to read this thread from the beginning to catch up with us.Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. There are a number of people who have more than one. Hello all,
looks like MR are well regarded, was thinking the Tefal 3in1 looked good, but seems to have mixed reviews.
I will need a timer won't I?
Away at work all day.
Is this my best option - seems neater than a seperate unit and timer switch - anyone got one??

There is only 2 of us, though I suppose now and then we will want to use this to cook for 4, rarely more I would imagine - would we be better off with a smaller one, as someone else just mentioned that the big ones cook faster, and we really don't need that.
The 48730 (With timer) seems to be available for about £30 online.
6.5 Litre
The
48710 (3.5 Litre), seems to be £20 in Robert Dyas, and the 48715 (6.5 Litre) is £24.99.
What on earth is the 48718 - I fail to see a difference, or is just the finish?
What's the best from the above 3, is there something else even better?!
*Apologies if this has already been discussed, I will try and read through all 34 pages of this thread later tonight!
Thanks

Daniel,
Have a look at this thread. There's a post there that says Makro has the Morphy Richards 6.5ltr for £14.99.

Amazon have the 6.5L one for £22.49 and free postage and packaging. And if you have any amazon vouchers even a better bargain.
See here
It is 350w.
