Another good thing about MR is that if you break the pot, knob, lid etc you can get all the spare parts via their website.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

How bout the MR duel cooking one?
can you only cook in 2 different sections or can you tke out the middle bit and cook in one big pot?0 -
As far as I know the middle bit is fixed, you cant take it out to make one big pot.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

I've got the MR 6.5 l and would struggle with a smaller one, 2 adults 2 kids who eat adult quantities, so even if there are only 2 of you, just cook meal for 4 and freeze half of it,I am a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Wales, Small Biz MoneySaving, In My Home (includes DIY) MoneySaving, and Old style MoneySaving boards. Magentasue wrote:I've been swayed by everyone here worshipping their slow cookers and I'm considering the Tefal 3 in 1 slow cooker/rice cooker/steamer but I'm trying not to buy anything this month! I like the idea of a rice cooker - a few weeks ago I'd have wondered why anyone would want something just to cook rice but for some reason, I'm thinking it might be a good idea.
I have this one and it's really good! Mainly use it for slow cooking but have also used both the rice cooker and steamer and it worked well for them too.Total Debt (27th Nov 08) £16,707.03 Now £5,102.72Debt Free Date [strike]Nov 2012[/strike] August 20110 -

How many portions of rice can you cook in this? There was a thread about cooking rice a while back, never get it right every time whatever method I use.0 -

You could cook loads, have only cooked enough for 2 before but that takes hardly any space so you could fit loads more in, will have a look at the book it came with tonight and see if it says on it.Total Debt (27th Nov 08) £16,707.03 Now £5,102.72Debt Free Date [strike]Nov 2012[/strike] August 20110 -

We got ours from John Lewis cos I didn't want to wait 2 weeks, think we paid 50 though. Saying that on one of the other forums their was a link to a website with a john lewis voucher for spending online, so that would bring it down.Total Debt (27th Nov 08) £16,707.03 Now £5,102.72Debt Free Date [strike]Nov 2012[/strike] August 20110
