To anyone thinking of getting the vax mach 6 i think it is, its the vax copy of the dyson with a 6 year warranty which is now £117, it really is very heavy and clumbersome and horrible to use, we bought it as a cheap alternative to the dyson but returned it after a few days it was that bad, thankfully costco took it back and i went in and bought the dyson i wanted as i dont think many places would refund on a used hoover. The more i save the more i can spend:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0

They stock the Panasonic SD254 BUT it is £80. Amazon is a bit cheaper there.0 -
My regular buys include: (sorry haven't got a bill to hand but most are good value!)
Own brand (Kirkland) still water 500ml x 36
Orange + apple juice (Princes)
Robinsons sugar free orange squash (3 litres which I decant into a small bottle)
Bold laundry tablets
Velvet toilet rolls
Bin bags and pedal bin liners (huge packs)
Mature cheddar
Bagels
Cumberland sausages
Pork loin (quite expensive but so tender)
Beef mince (Aberdeen Angus when I can afford it)
Lamb mince
Packs of lean bacon
Peanut butter
Canderel
Heinz ketchup
Heinz baked beans
Strawberries (huge packs and usually very fruity)
Baby plum tomatoes
Apples (various)
Carrots
Oranges
Bananas
pastries and breads if I can't resist!
The takeaway pizzas are good (only had one once but the kids loved it!)
Oh and the photo printing service is a great idea - I'd never used one of these before and found it so easy to put in a sim card, select what I wanted and leave them to it with the printing while I shopped.
These days I tend to shop at Cosco once a month, then Aldi between, with maybe one Tesco or Sainsbury shop. I found some of my old shopping receipts when I was sorting out and couldn't believe how much more I used to spend a couple of years ago!somewhere between Heaven and Woolworth's0 -
Hi
I'm a costco novice but have decided that's the place to get DS's birthday cake....elsewhere its costing me £££! and I'm having a big bash so need lots of cake!
Trouble is just how big are these cakes??? Can't find this info anywhere.
I'm ordering a photo picture cake topper off ebay and can't decide if I ought to go for an A4 or A4+fairy cake toppers??

Pepsi Max works out at 70p for a 2 litre bottle. Its always cheaper to buy it by the case there unless the suipermarket is having a BOGOF.
They are not always the cheapest, I noted down the price of a 46" TV there the other day and found it for £150 less (including delivery) online.
However, my current TV that I bought in 2001 cost £1600 there when the cheapest I could get it elsewhere at the time was £2100.0 -

At a guess, i would say the cakes are 18" x 10"0 -
I was in Costco yesterday and they had the large Kirkland lasagne on taste. I didn't try it as I don't buy ready-made. However, I told my sister about it and said it looked really nice. She wanted to know how much it cost and how many it would feed but I couldn't remember - I thought about £6.50. Does anyone know and did anyone taste it?0
