I've decided to go for £60 of pin this month.
Keeping a spreadsheet last month enabled me to see where I'm spending and saving so I think this is achievable. I'm also keeping my budget at £250, I've got DD birthday to accommodate this month so don't want to go too low.
Day 1, I've spent nothing and gained 6p of copper finds down at the park.0 -

Doing pretty well all round so far - upped my voluntary excess on my car insurance, and opted to pay for it in one lump sum v. dd - saved £50, which for me is aPMS.
Saved £10 by using a freebie boots voucher at the w/e, and used £6.33 in coupons at the supermarket yesterday. Mustn't forget the 70ps worth of savings for buying reduced items, making a total of £17.03 vPMS.0 -
Hi Everyone
OH has investigated our household insurance and has discovered that the £16 redundancy insurance we've been paying out is now null and void as although he's been made redundant everytime he makes and sells a piece of his miniature furniture it is regarded as a shortterm contract. So that's £16 in the PMS pot - only £4 left to find.
How do you all keep a running total of stuff like that on your messages? [she asks not being very technically minded]

Decided to join in the fun!!!
Have no idea what target to aim for - this month it'll have to be virtual PIN money anyway as we have v. expensive month!!!
So far, £3.33 by using Boots Advantage card to buy some toiletries (I had forgotten about this - still got £5 left on it now!) and BOGOF/multi buys at Tesco saved £3.38!
August total therefore £6.71!!
