Insane Price for Shure 4c In-Earphones

I got cold feet, opened a pay pal dispute and sent the company a request for a refund. Got my money back in full.

Odd experience, i would have like to see if they were real, but really didn't want to risk it.

I'd avoid, although they were very quick to give my money back!

of course i agree with you superscraper, but was interested to hear from someone who'd actually taken the risk. i wrote to the company earlier to ask them directly if they sell authentic products - i guess they'll say yes, if they reply at all. in the meantime, i think i will go out during my lunchbreak and buy me another set of sennheiser px100s for £30.

The other thing is that if someone does get them and says they're genuine, on what basis are they saying that. Sometimes fakes can be extremely "good" at appearing almost identical to genuines. What I'd like to hear is what Shure or other manufacturers have to say. But I've yet to hear back, I guess they may not be as interested unless I'd actually bought some. I presume our local trading standards would be the best people to go to in order to authenticate them.

It looks like Mobile blue aren't a legitimate seller; they appear to have taken down the listings for all their Shure products!

Props to whoever on MSE reported them to Shure.

Casts aspersions on the rest of their sale items...

Seems like it. Never got a reply from Shure but I think actions seem to speak louder than words in this case anyway. Thanks for the update, I hadn't looked at the site for quite a while. Although was thinking about it (and others) after that item on Watchdog last night about fake websites.

They are now - but it's pretty obvious from what everyone else has been saying that it was a scam. But people may still click on just the first page and not bother to read all the posts. Also by now saying that they think it's a scam it reinforces them if they pop up another topic with 'oh look at this new el cheapo site...'
