You can't just sell fake headphones. Why not try getting the e2c for £18 and see. If they're genuine i'd bet the others will be.
Still seems like a risky prospect anyway for all the reasons above. Never mind fake I'd be worried about getting ANYTHING. Paypal refunds only work if the seller keeps enough funds available in their account, that's the flaw in the paypal system."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Reading some audio forums they all seem to say that even the photos show definitely the fakes and not the genuine article."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

whats the brands guarantee on them?
I read on the Shure Distribution UK website that "All products manufactured by Shure Incorporated after December 31 2002, feature a limited two-year warranty. This two-year warranty is specific to the date of manufacture as determined by the serial number or date code printed on the product."
I emailled Shure yesterday and they replied with a phone number for me to call. Called up the number and gave them the code on the earphone jack. They gave me an authorisation code so that I could return my Shure e2cs. I was told that since this model is discontinued I will be getting the equivalent SE110s sent to me within 3-5 working days.
I am very impressed with the whole process since I only have to pay £2 postage to get them replaced. We shall see. Smooth customer service means I won't have to buy some dodgy looking new ones after all!0 -

Definitely in the truest philosophy of the MSE site. :T"She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

I'm in a similar situation as you. Bought my earphones from Amazon and they broke after about 3 months! Didn't keep them in the protective case so maybe that's why, but they were my second pair after the first ones lasted 8 months before the cables split and the left earphone lost its casing.
Never thought to deal with Amazon myself. Shure UK have a 2 year limited-warranty. As you can read from my post above they seemed happy to replace my earphones free of charge, so long as I returned them with proof of purchase. You may wish to try ringing them on 01992 703058 and explaining your situation to them.0 -

Ha ha, I agree! Glad I posted here. Went from potentially spending £35 on some dodgy website to paying £2 to get them replaced by the manufacturer free of charge. Go MSE!0 -
