I rang this morning, saying I wanted to cancel and was offered my Family Package for half price for 6 months. OH wants the Sky Sports deal tho!!0

Did you not try the old "well thats a fair offer but you keep repeating the same programmes and freeview boxes are very cheap nowadays, if you were offering movies OR sports instead of that offer then perhaps I would keep it"0

I've recently got the family pack on a month's free trial and have just phoned up NTL and said I'd seen a leaflet offering Sky Sports free for a year and the really nice lady said she'd let me have it! I didn't need sign up to a Phone Package. Nice!! Thanks Joanne.0

Hi I contacted NTL today and thought that I would ask for any discounts for loyal customers.I was told straight away that I could have Sky sports free for 12 months and broadband for £19.99 for 6 months.Usually they will only give one offer,but because we have 2 digi boxes etc they would let me have 2! Not a bad saving just for asking!0

I've just rung up again and said I have seen the offer for free Sky Sports for new customers and she said its for old customers as well!! so I now have it free for 12 months, and she didn't say anything about changing my 6 months half price family pack either, excellent.

We are with telewest as we live in a non NTL area (currently got all services, tv package, phone and internet). I've just spokent to them and they are not offering this to existing customers - how unfair is that? If NTL are offering it to existing customers then surely telewest should be as well?
I'm not happybut unable to do anything about it as we have no option but to use Telewest.

They prob know you cant get ntl therefore know you aren't about to ditch them. Maybe try a couple of sky lines on them?0
