Nicholas, could you please update your first post and thread title as it's a bit misleading. Reading that first post almost gave me a heart attack!

Has anyone heard anything from Ebico yet? Only 2 weeks to 1/9.0

I think it was only about 5 days before that they announced their (now withdrawn) price increases of 1 August.0 -
Ebico prices to increase on 1 September. I suggest anyone interested has a look now in case they remove the information from their website again:rolleyes:
Despite the delay for "renegotiation" of prices, the rises remain exactly the same as before (can only speak for the SWEB region).
After seeing the rises for the SWEB announced recently, still a damn good deal on the electric. Gas is still competative as well. (Provided this annoucement is final).0 -
Cheers. So gas will be 1.94p per kWh and electricity between 7.04 and 9.70 depending on area.
Doesn't seem too bad but I'll need to compare these prices with other providers, the problem is I can't find updated prices on the ones I've checked so far.
Does anyone know where I can find the increased prices for other providers? British Gas, for example, is still showing their Sept 2004 price, and I can't find anothing on their site regarding price increases.0 -
See here for revised electricity and gas tariffs.
(My regional electricity tariff appears to have increased by 12.4%, and the gas tariff by 19.8%).
Eek. :eek:0 -
I have just signed over to them. Even though they have just put prices up I will be paying the same prices as I currently pay with Powergen. Powergen are about to move their prices up further so I am saving with Ebico because they are not increasing for 12 months. It looks like fuel bills are going up a lot this year, so a 12 month cap is good for now.0

Got letter from then yesterday confirming price increase for 1st September - time to put in a high meter reading methinks.I think....0

Interesting idea michaels - If they have thought ahead I suspect they'll do door-to-door meter readings soon. Worth a try though
