Yep - go to Tourist info just near the exit door. Family day tickets are really good value.
This link might help.

They are not processing Electron Visa cards (bringing up an error message when you try to pay with this card) probably due to the fact that they cannot charge fees on this card
I thought there was a problem with my electron card, good to know others are experiencing the same difficulty as myself. Does this mean if your paying by electron you miss out? what a con.Comping Fairy bring some luck my way! :dance:Love my Fiance Spiceboy :happyhear:iloveyou:0 -
any tips on cheap places to stay overnight in Dublin? how much does it cost to go from airport to city? any tips/suggestions appreciated - hope you all had a lovely time!:j
I've been to Dublin 5 times in the last year, 4 of them were day trips! The one where I stayed over, I stayed at a friends house.
I usually get the Aircoach into town, I think it's €7 each way, although I get it for €3 as I work at an airport!
Generally a reasonably priced city, although as the Euro is currently poor, it works out roughly the same as the UK (Pint of Beer about €4!)0 -
For anyone else experiencing the blank blue page, I've been dozily refreshing all night & getting nowhere. I've finally noticed there is a yellow band at the top of the page. If you click on book now on here, it will take you to the booking in page.
I know it's still cheap & I shouldn't be complaining, but I'm a bit unhappy about the handling charge for debit cards. This is new. I think I just feel aggreived that the flights are not 1p as advertised as I think most will have had to pay a handling charge.0 -
I find the new format of finding the cheapest flights very confusing. You have the option of clicking "Previous Week" and "Next Week" if you tick that your dates are flexible but this only shows a couple of flight options per week not the full range of flight prices for the week. The previous method of showing all flight prices within a selected range of dates was much better. When you go to the site map and select "Search for cheap flights" it now only checks the specific dates that you input it no longer gives you arange of dates.

As someone has said, go to the Tourist Info counter near the left-hand exit.
The 3-day Rambler pass for 11 euros is excellent value, covering the Airport tfrs and ALL Dublin Bus routes.
As for the decline in £>Euro value, had a Gulp moment just now when hearing today's Euro rate: 76.3p!
I've been a YHA Life Member, for cheap accommodation worldwide, for>25years. Don't be mislead by the 'yoof' - and family rooms are available in most places nowadays.
It's worth it if you don't have a roof/floorspace/friend in a new place.
Note that England YHA and Scotland YHA are now in Tesco Clubcard Deals, meaning no cash outlay and accomm. at 1/4 price in tokens.
Finally, playing with the 1p flights thing and YHA International, means, for example, I could go to Poland staying at Cuma YH for apx. £4/5 per night. Just depends on whether you want the experience, luxury, just a roof, a taster of another place/country........you choose.CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:

The b*****s! Yesterday there was a box on that page asking if 'your dates are flexible?'!!!!!!!! And it then showed the prices for a few days either side!
I wonder how long they'll get away with no Electron. I think that is their token offering of a 'free' card. Isn't that something that's needed to meet trading standards requirements on pricing?
Thet let you put your Electron card details in as a normal Visa card, but guess what when you do it this way you are charged the £6 return credit card booking fee!
However they have now added back the are you "flexible with your dates" box when you press the "book now" on the title bar.
It looks like they are designing there site for maximum screwability0 -
is the only way to get the flights for 1p each way to have a passport? I don't have 1 & had to pay a £3 check in fee either way. bumped up our price for 6 to £36.12 still cheap but I wondered if there was any other way around it or should I get saving so I can take advantage of these offers more.
Hugs

Hi, we are flying from Bournemouth and flight times do not allow for a day trip we've had to look at an overnight stay. As we got the flight for £8.08 (including debit card charge of £8.00 !!!!) we thought we could splash out on staying the night. We've looked at lots of options but as we have two children who need to be in our room we are a bit limited. We finally came up with the Hilton, yes the Hilton. For £141.00 the four of us can have a family room, free shuttle to and from the airport an evening meal and breakfast the next morning. It is at the airport and as we have to be back for 8.15 the next day it seemed like the best bet. We did look at other places but as this includes meals we have gone for this. My 12 year old son is very impressed that we are going to a "posh" hotel.any tips on cheap places to stay overnight in Dublin? how much does it cost to go from airport to city? any tips/suggestions appreciated - hope you all had a lovely time!:j
I booked direct with Hilton but went through Quidco. If you check out the Hilton website you will see they do quite a few package deals.0
