I am trying to book a return flight since midday and it always appeared with £40 of taxes. Called CS and they say that that is because there are no more 1p flight available for that trip. I have checked several dates and all of them add the £40 taxes. So basically they are lying! They are so stupid!!!
Do you guys think that I should make a complaint to trading standards or something similar?
Mines coming on with £20 taxes too:mad:Sam B0 -

I have just returned from Ireland (Gatwick-Shannon) I travelled on Monday 18th. -Friday 22nd.Feb 2008. It cost me 1p each way plus luggage £7 each way. I booked in December. I think the key to cheap flights is to book early enough. Even paying for taxes and luggage it is still cheap. My parents live in Ireland and it has never been cheaper to fly I used to pay £80 and think it was cheap because some had paid over £200 for same flight (1995)0

For which date and route?
afm, not every route is included, I don't think you will get anywhere with TS.
It was a penny each way to Dublin, in May!! Went back and started again got them for 1p then no taxes but what pees me off is they charge you both ways for using your switch card, 2 quid each way, cheeky monkeys!!!!!!:eek:Sam B0
