I've tried to book this and got as far as the confirmation but it tells me that a Drivers licence is not valid I.D. even though I'm only going to Dublin. I travel to Irlenad about ten times a year and have never needed a passport in the past ! Has something changed ?Education is compulsory, school is not.

You need a passport for webcheck in for some reason.
Keep getting to the payment page & having it crash on me.0 -

Have booked flights to Dublin from Prestwick 8 April, but have just realised daughter turns 16 on 31st March although her child passport does not expire until September 08.
Will she be able to travel on this or will it need to be renewed before then.
I know it refers to under 16 on website, but would this be including age 16 IYSWIM.
Should be valid till it expires.0 -
This seems like a total waste of time, just a way of getting traffic to their site or something. Looked for 1p flights at loads of dates and different places starting at 12 on the dot and found nothing...Need to save money to fund the dream :rolleyes:0

Dear All,
I believe you have to pay £6 handling fee per passenger. I have tried to book a day trip to Dublin in three different ways, using different links, buttons etc and it still cost £12.04, which I think is great regardless!!0 -

Depends on your debit/credit card I guess. Use an electron and it's free I think.
Although in previous promotion's my total has been confirmed at £6 etc due to card charges but they've never taken it from me.0 -
I found flights for 2p each if I left Tuesday and returned Wednesday. If I moved the return to Thursday, it went up to 10 pounds and 2p per ticket. And it's going so slow I can't easily go back and change times to check for different fares. urgh0

You could be right - I will check my statement tomorrow and see whether they took £12.04 or just 4p ! I will update this forum with the news just for the hell of it.0
