  • Hello old stylers! Thought I'd pop in to say hello as keep meaning to do more over here and actually save some money so more can come of the debt! Currently in the process of giving up smoking so honoured the sofa by giving the covers a wash which lead to a mini spring clean! Feels lovely to have everythng clean, if not sparkling! Just wanted to say hello & look forward to getting to know you. Hugs for those that need them:)

Had quite a productive day.........the freecyclers collected the chair early and I have just had a lovely e mail from the girl, the chair was from her father who cannot get his head round why people should want to 'give such lovely stuff away' .....I am just pleased its gone, or sitting room seems much bigger now.

I washed and dried 2 loads of washing, and I did not have to iron any of it:D :D:D We then went off to the lottie, I heeled in the lavender bushes, I gave them a quick 'haircut' and have also found some soft wood cuttings so have 10 in two pots put the pots in a blown up poly bag on the window cill, will see if they root.

We have gammon, mushrooms, tomatos and salad for supper, baked banana for sweet..............I need to do mt freezer audit in the morning and get my menus sorted, I also need to think about what I am going to take for dinner on the two nights we are travelling down through France on our holiday. Don't think I dare take the Romuska and cook something in our room, think thats taking things a bit too far!!!:rotfl: :rotfl:  :D

Just made myself a coffee, I am feeling sleepy after my bad night, but want to stay awake. I am just going to install Microsoft works and a couple of other programmes onto the computer. Very disappointed the cable I ordered to transfer the files from my old laptop has not arrived......I need works and a couple of other programmes over the weekend so am going to have to install them.

smoky: I cried when I read your post yesterday. I am not sure where you live but I am up in the north east?? If you live near pm me, I could look after your kids (((huggs))

aussie: your probably asleep but  anyway

donny--god, I bet your relieved. Labriythitus (sp) is very nasty though, but now they know what it is, I am sure they will treat it, phewww!!:D

tathy---I make myself have a shower every morning and wash my hair. I know there is absolutley no need to wash my hair everyday, but once your hair is up in a towell it sorta of makes you pay attention to your face and putting make up on. I have tried altering this routine but I did not feel right all day, like littlemisskat said, this just helps me feel like me! IKNWIM:rotfl:
just do something that makes you feel like you!!:D

    kyle---get well soon xx

    Afternoon all,

As baby Aoife is not sleeping very well at night, I have volunteered to be her carer for to-day so that Mammy can have some sleep...baby has now slept for almost 3 hours so has a surprise in store in a few minutes...toe flicking usually works!

Smoky, you are constantly on my mind...know that I can do nothing except send you positive thoughts and prayers, but will continue to do that.

Welcome to newbies....you will like it here

Hugs to anyone in need or want

    :hello:to all hussies

Maybe you have got to give him some space for a day or two to see if he will talk, perhaps not calling my get to him more than constant calling. As for DD, I don´t know if it is her Dad or not, but maybe go along the lines as he is not very well, and needs some quiet time so has gone away for a short while to try to get better.
Depression is very hard to handle and for those not suffering to understand.

Redruby ((HUGS)) so sorry - what a shock. Hope you and DD are ok. If your OH has depression, then you know that that's at the bottom of it, rather than anything you may have said or done. Sure that's only small comfort tho' at this point. Look after yourself. Thinking of you lots

Another Welsh win - yeah!
This reminds me of the 70's! It's been far too long since we had a good season! DH now back from his meeting - and noticed all the housework I've done today! (Amazing how a quick tidy-up and a hoover makes the place look better;) )
Have also baked bread so kitchen smell nice too! Apparently we're to go out for a meal tonight - his treat!
