just thought i'd pop in and say hi and i'm looking forward to getting to know you all.
I've been busy this morning was hoping for a lay in but just didn't happen so the 3rd load of washing is in, 2 loads are on the line, i've coloured my hair (i hate doing it, it takes sooooooooo long). Now i need to de-colour the bathroom (any hints?). I did managed to sort out all my toiletries and make up whilst wearing my snazzy carrier bag hair style so it wasn't a complete waste of time
I've sorted through my boxes of rubber craft stamps, so i can list them on ebay, think it may be a good idea to try and find the turbo lister that people talk about. It's my neices 4th birthday today and my nephews 11th tomorrow so i've got 2 birthday cards to make and some mothers day cards, and i've got a layout to do on a circle journal Next i'm going to list some mags on freecycle and update my accounts.
Good job i'm in the mood to sort out lots of stuff today because there's loads to do and it's driving me nuts0 -
Lillibet - know just what you mean about the 'dressing up' thing. When i had PND after having DD (6) it was so easy either to stay in my jammies or get dressed in trackie pants and a t-shirts, hair tied up and no make up but i felt such a scruffy cow that it made me more depressed
I found just by making an effort which probably only took about 20mins longer i felt so much better about myself. Things like putting a bit of makeup on, wearing heeled boots with my jeans instead of trainers and having nice underwear on (even though there was no one to see it back then!) just made me feel like 'me' again
Glad things are improving for you
Take care

llamahead - just seen yr post, sorry if I'm late and you've already gone to Lidls.
I can recommend.. Bourbonville Vanilla IceCream (Blue tub) - £2.99 for 2.5 ltr tub (proper vanilla icecream)
The fruit and veg is ok - they usually have certain items on special offer each week, and then sometimes they ave 75% off which is great.
4 Tin pack of Heinz Spaghetti is on offer for £1 atm.
Bratwurst sausages, tinned hot dogs, cheeses, coleslaw, cooked meats, fruit juices are good, orange juice 99p for 1.5ltr, apple juice 79p 1.5 ltr, pepsi cans usually 5 for £1. Had the chinese spring rolls on offer the other week which were lovely. Jams are lovely, the luxury muesli (1.49).
Their cleaning products are fine, get much bigger bottle for yr money, and I like their scouring pads 45pfor 6.
They also have loads of non-food bizarre stuff too! DIY stuff, bathroom, riding, skiing, exercise, kids toys, stationery, gardening. Just pick up their little catalogues to see whats coming up or online.
I dont like their pizza's or oven chips - there's also loads of other stuff I havent tried yet.0 -
Good morning all - up early for visit to hairdressers this am - would have loved the chance of a lie-in! DH gone to a trustees meeting today and had to use my car as his is in dock, so anywhere I want to go has to be on foot today...may just curl up with a book after the dogs have been walked!
Smokybabe - so sorry to hear last evening's bulletin, you are very much in my thoughts and prayers, and I hope the news is better soon.
DG - so glad things are on the up with you again.

Well I'm off to bed. Enjoy the rest of your day. ByeeeeeeeeeeeeDon't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -
Hello! Very infrequent poster here just popping in to say that I love Lidl except for their washing-up liquid (Sorry RedRuby) which smells a bit like spew. I have a bottle under the kitchen sink at the moment which I am far to tight to throw out.:rotfl:
LemonTree, Domestos mould and mildew spray gets dye off my tiles. It's in a lime green spray bottle....I expect there is a much cheaper homemade version though.:o
Must stir myself to make some lunch, I've promised to take the children into town for an end-of-holiday spend-up (£5 each in change). I wish I hadn't agreed to it, I hate Barnstaple on a Saturday.
Have a nice day people, love reading all your posts and sympathise with all those having worrying times.Katie.0 -
