Morning all
Big hugs to Smokey, I can't imagine how you are holding things together right now but you are :T Hugs to DG & recovering hubby too, glad things are looking up;)
Well had a carp nights sleep, between my insomnia & my neighbours...er....LOUD night time exercise:rolleyes: I have been awake much more than asleep, but I don't feel too bad. Will no doubt crash out for a nap this afternoon.
Saw the Dr yesterday & she thinks my medication is finally at the right dose but was insistant that I go for counselling. I'm not against counselling, I just don't want to do it! So have compromised, my neighbour & very good friend is a psychatric (sp?) nurse & Samaritan & she is going to be my counsellor, one eveing a week over a glass of wine. Much more informal & I really don't mind discussing anything with her. 1st session planned for Wednesday. Also made a couple of decisions about how best too cope ; firstly, I need to have planned each day before it arrives, if I have a purpose then I am much more willing to get up & get on! Today it is wash the kitchen floor (half done as puppy knocked her water bowl all over it), vacuum & take a package to the post office. Dinner is pizza & garlic bread as I got in a meal plan muddle & had lasagne last night. Second part of my plan is to have at least 1 or pref 2, days a week where I get out of my usual jeans & jumper & put on something nicer. I have a wardrobe full of dresses & shoes, so I'm going to make an effort to wear them. I wore a long swishy skirt yesterday & felt much better for being dressed nicely!
Sorry for the long waffle:o
Happy Old Style Saturday everyone & congrats Martin on 5 fab years!:TPost Natal Depression is the worst part of giving birth:p

Llamahead - cant help you, we dont have a Lidl anywhere near.
Saturday at last. Have loads to do today. DS footie match is today instead of tomorrow and its at home so training has been cancelled and we are heading to the pitch at 10.30. Need to wrap us sisters birthday pressies & also dd's friend. She is going to a sleepover tonight.
Have got a least 3 loads of washing to do and some ironing. Need to pop to the farm shop for my veg and take pressies around sisters. Must pick up some lasagne sheets from the local shop also. Dont enjoy making lasagne much but do enjoy eating it.
Cant think of much else to say - oh might try and do some more Bingo today. Have a great day all.

Morning everyone,
It's been a stinker today but about 2pm a nice breeze sprang up so it's not too bad atm. Hope we get the breeze tomorrow. DD arrived at 11am and she's staying the night so we've been catching up. DGS & XDIL came over after his arv sleep and stayed until 6pm. Just had our tea and I'm to have a shower. Been tired tonight due to the hot day. I'm putting a colour in DD hair tomorrow morning. She'll probably leave after lunch as she has to do her ironing etc.
DG That's promising news.
Kyle You may need antibioitics to clear your chest up. Take it easy.

Actually thought of you last night, my lovely friend who moved to Melbourne phoned me last night, her daughter is thinking of going to a University up near Queensland, although my friend isnt keen, as it would be a 4 hour flight/2 day drive away. We are hoping she will stay near Melbourne, or maybe Sydney (she has an aunty near there!!!)0 -
moning all,
Smokey, I just wanted to repeat what everyone else has said really, I am thinking of you and DH and your family, I hope you get some better news soon, I wish I could do something to help you xx
DG so glad for you, give the old man a hug from us all xx
Kyle hope you feel better soon xx
Well its a bit miserable weather wise here, looks gloomy, might have to hang the wash inside today.
I am having a few problems with my OH a the moment, I love him to bits, but he just will not commit to a future with us, I was looking to move this year, had my house valued yesterday, and although I have made a huge profit in this house I cannot afford to move on my own, I only work part time, and would not be able to afford a mortgage on my own. This is my house I bought it years before I met him, but think its time for us to get somewhere together. He just will not help me, says he does not want to commit himself to a huge mortgage, although it would be a very small mortgage due to the equity I have in this house, it has made me question if we have a future together at all. To be honest I think he may be suffering with depression, he had a strange upbringing, and his poor mother has suffered with depression all her life, his dad basically bought them up, while she was in the background. I am not sleeping properly and not eating and feeling sick, I just feel that I need some time alone to try and get it straight in my head, if he will not make a commitment what is the point of us being together.
Sorry to be so down when others have so much to cope with, am going out on my own today, so will need to have a good think.
Hope you all have good days xx0 -
Redruby - sorry to hear you are so down, enjoy your day to yourself, have a little treat and don't make any big decisions while you are feeling so hurt, just take your time and think it all through.
