thanks verbatim, things have been pretty bad for sometime now but the past few months have been the worst, we can't be civil to each other so i try to avoid them. it sounds so sad but i try to spend most of time in my bedroom just to get away from them.
just won £16.69 on bingo so im almost on track with the £10 a day challenge, really need to get a move on and get this ebay stuff sorted!

Hi Carrie
Sorry to hear about your troubles at home. Hopefully things will get a little easier soon. Have you looked into renting with somebody else? it won't be as nice as living on your own, but at least the costs will be split, and you won't have to hide away in your room.
Well done on the bingo win - thats great news for your £10 a day challenge.
Have you managed to list much on ebay? Sunday is always a good day to end your items, more people are online and buying stuff i've always found.
Keep up the good work.

im totally ebayed out!! ive been on this computer for the last 3 hours and only managed to put 11 items on. oh well better than nothing! got loads more to put on tomorrow i actually quite enjoy it once i get into it! off work again tomorrow so will try and spend some time doing that!
managed to get shifts at work changed, its only going to be an 11% pay increase which is less than i thought but it still more than im getting just now. hopefully there will be more overtime soon as well.
went onto lovefilm.com through quidco as you can get up to £15.50 for doing a trial (must remember to cancel it though!!) and got 2 dvds this morning, so thats my weekend sorted!

today hasn't really gone to plan! ended up looking at lots of different threads on here for about 4 hours this morning, then decided i had to get out of the house! went into town and took some clothes back to new look got a £37 refund! tried to take some items back to river island but they wouldn't take them back as i didn't have a receipt but thought they would at least give me a credit note. need to try and have a better look for the receipt!!
things i need to do tonight:- place bet on betfair for the grand national (managed to register this morning, £50 through quidco and a £25 free bet, but haven't chosen horses yet)
- get ebay things ready for postage
- put at least 5 items on ebay
- do surveys
- sort out signature (not too good at the moment as i've paid £30 each to 2 different bingo sites so i could withdraw my winnings and another £25 to betfair to get my free bet, but it'll work out in the long run)

Hi Carrie
That Betfair offer through Quidco looks good, just had a little look on Quidco and its now been lowered to £30 cashback - gutted i missed out on £50. I might sign up still, not sure, i don't know the first thing about betting on horses though. Any ideas which horses you may pick? I remember i used to always back horses where the names stood out, maybe i will do that.0 -
i put £25 on slim pickings to win, that was the 1st one to catch my eye! don't even know if ive done it right but at least its not my own money so hopefully cant go wrong!! good luck if your going to try it!
working this morning then going to visit my gran, going to go to asda (vouchers) and get my grans pressie and maybe a wee small something from argos. then to the post office to post my ebay items so hopefully should be a low spend day!

i have lost the way, yet again.
not posted on here for a while (been too busy spending money i don't have). i thought i had lost my bank card and have been spending money from my other account instead (where im trying to repay my overdraft). ive just been sticking things on my card, realising how much it was adding up. burying my head further in the sand, i haven't been checking my online banking either and was absoultely DISGUSTED with myself this afternoon when i checked my balance and i have pretty much spent everything i have been putting towards the overdraft and credit card. BUT IT STOPS NOW!!!
im going to be so disappointed in myself if i don't meet the target i set myself, pay off overdraft and credit card before i start college (roughly £3500 before 1st sept) but the closer it gets im thinking its not going to happen. so here i am!!
had a look through my monthly outgoings and decided i need to get this down. call car insurance company and they agreed to reduce my monthly payment to £39 a month, starting at the end of april!!! need to call my mobile company as im sure its about time i can change my tariff as £35 is way more than i need.
have started a spending diary again at www.spendingdiary.com its great coz you enter everything you spend at what catogery its in (clothes, food etc) and it puts it into a pie chart for you and you can view a days/weeks/months spends! going out with a friend this evening but only taking £15 out so when its gone its time to come home!!

thats a good idea albertross but im too scared to at the moment incase i end up spending it if it goes into the bank account!!
managed to only spend £15.70 last nite which wasn't too bad. aiming for a nsd today as ive not had one in ages! going to spend this evening on ebay as i made quite a bit at the beginning of the month.
just checked my bank account and got a £30 refund for something on ebay which never showed up so thats good. and ive transferred over £50 from my paypal account so hopefully ill have that in my account in the next few days. i have now cut up my debit card for the overdraft account, this is going to now be solely for bills and nothing else (except putting every last penny i can into it to pay off the bleeding overdraft!) i have another account which im going to transfer about £250 every month into for clothes, nights out, presents etc and when its gone its gone rather than allowing myself to transfer out of the overdraft account.
only got £15.50 in my purse to last me until payday (6 days) i no this is really generous but compared to what ive been spending lately it may be a struggle.
its my best friends sisters 21st birthday at the beginning of may and want to get her something nice which won't break the bank. ive seen some really beautiful personalised photo albums on ebay recently which would be perfect as she is having a party and this would be a great keepsake but they all seem to be coming in at around £25 each. so ive decided to become creative (which never really turns out that well!) and make my own. i would also love to open my own ebay shop and think this would be perfect but ill just need to wait and see how this turns out!!
