V8 - got one refund (minus the stamp on the envelope) and thought Id try again with a different address. V8 drank - hubby put carton in bin, I retrieved it, not wanting to lose out on £1.19, hubby then put it back in the bin thinking he hadnt in the first place!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRR. Lost out on that one. Ah well. better luck next time.

    How Lucky am I ?????????????????
I had some bad health news last week (Tuesday), so on Friday was waiting for the hospital to ring me.
This was the day I lost my Postal Order's.
I can't remember the last 'anything' I ever lost, so was more afraid of losing my mind than the money.
I was doing several things at once and was in a real tizzy, waiting for various calls.
Today I saw my doctor, she asked me to call her this afternoon with a tele: number for a consultant I'd seen at the hospital.
You'll never believe it, because I hardly did, but amongst the hospital letters I found the £40 PO's!
In my panic I must have accidently put them in with all the hospital papers. And there I was moaning away at 'tfl'.
Good news is ...............after all this weeks bad news, and thinking they'd gone anyway...............I'm going to Blow the money tomorrow on things I don't need
Just wanted to share that with you all.

Well done LilacLillie for finding the postal orders- I'm so relieved for you. Now go and spoil yourself with something nice! :)

I don't mind TMFs where you have to write over X number of words (I don't mind elaborating) but hate the ones with, say 15 words maximum. Do they think they'll get a great answer like that?

That is so cheeky! In the old days of TMF's, all you had to do was send your name address and till receipt. Much easier/better.
They've made it '?? words or more', so that people won't bother to send off for them.
I think making the effort to send off in the first place should entitle you to the refund. It is a promotion after all.

Really !!!!!! off this week - I got Dr Beckerman's Rescue Oven TMF returned cos I wrote 12 words instead of 15 (my fault I know) so I wrote them an 81 word essay about why I didn't like the product. This morning I got the Heineken TMF returned cos there was no valid date on the receipt !! I sent a standard Tesco receipt with the date and time on the bottom of the receipt - so suggest if anyone else is doing the Heineken TMF that you highlight the date as well as the product. So infuriating........

Congratulations to LilacLillie for finding the postal orders - I can really imagine how annoyed you were when you thought you'd lost them. Hope next week is an improvement for you and you get some good luck now.
