It's a pity about the poor people who have lost their jobs. But part of me is chuckling. I bought a TIME computer about 18 months ago. I am quite happy with it, never got the extra warantee, so what I have will have to do or be upgraded. But The whole sales package was crap. Told me I was getting one thing and find out they lied. A 5 year anti -virus turned out to be one. I went into the shop and the ugly shop assistant refused to help, saying they just sell them, once they have done that I must get hold of the customer service... £1 a minute! Good ridance!NO to pasty tax We won!!!! Just shows that people power works! Don't be apathetic to your cause!0

this was a good company - i bought my first pc from them in 1998 - and bought a newer one from them in 2002 with an extended warentee - which i could claim back if unused in december this year.... looks unlikely now though0

Pity, we had a time pc, and it was great, fast, I could loads of stuff at once, but the cd rewriter packed up within a year, and teh dvd player often didn't.
We now have a dell, and to be honest, I preferred the Time. Though the rewriter is a little faster, but it's muuuch slower with loading etc., and is easily confused if I click on too many things at once.I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.
Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.0 -
Have a look at Tiny/Time computer bargains? on the "Shop but don't drop" board, it has useful info about warranties etc. On that thread (page 4), mse-er bytie bit says:
"They have also set up a help line for customers and creditors and people who have made recent orders but not received their goods. Call 0870 381 7097 if you fall into one of those categories."Torgwen.....................

There are geographical office numbers for Grant Thornton, but surprise, surprise....they're not accepting incoming calls.I haven't been asked to tell you that I'm the Board Drunk for this board. As the night wears on, my posts will become worse, with simple spelling mistakes, inane ramblings, and a blatant disregard for the truth. I have no authority to do anything, so there's no point asking or telling me. If you see me past midnight, please tell me to get my coat and order me a taxi.
